LPGA: after what I saw this past weekend I’m fine with backing Castren +3500. She played as well as any of the other gals. Henselet +8500 is worth a small token.

    Euro: Hatton +2200, Grace +3500 & Ramsay +20000 (Hatton 1R +3300)

    PGA: Henley +1800

    Sr: Els +1400

This is a great bet, I feel this is free money. Suga Sean will demolish this guy. If it goes past 1.5 it will be only because Suga was “playing” around and waiting for a “walk off KO” opportunity rather than a less glamorous finish

I don’t love laying -170 but am very confident in this pick

The old Pipes would have found this pick himself, instead I just looked for “dogs”, flaw

The old Pipes would have pounded Italy before tournament, before elimination round before last game and before this game

Instead I just looked for dogs because I thought Italy should be a bit bigger dog and wanted to bet bigger dogs like lol Belgium

I ask myself why and the only answer is I just don’t care

I used to care so much, my sports bankroll used to matter so much to me. Remember the feeling of a 2 min drill drive to win on an NFL Sunday when the result really mattered? Or the feeling of the Redskins messing up a lateral, the Chiefs recovering and losing Chiefs team total under and the spread on last play of game ?

Now for me it’s just not as interesting. I like to bet and bet decently big, but am too careful compared to life roll. Too focused on other things.

Can you even make money sports betting? Used to be a way for me to QUICKLY run up thousands but obviously with big risk of busto. Now, I am not trying to run up thousands I have bigger dreams and not realistic to take that risk in sports betting compared to business etc

Have you ever felt this way?

With all those thousands of dollars you have coming in every day from all over the world it seems like you shouldn't sweat the sports betting swings as long as you keep it under 5 figures per bet.

Brother this was not the point I was trying to convey

I was trying to convey my feelings about reminiscing when all this mattered to me. Really mattered. Many of us are now in this position. We like to bet, maybe play some cards, but it’s not how we make our money, at least anymore.

I have two feet out of that world now and in many ways sports betting is my last connection. I would never spend my limited free time grinding cash at a local casino, would not spend 1 second playing online. No time. Sports betting I can follow on ESPN or sometimes have game on in back. Even enjoy radio if can find stream in the past

I great memory of the pandemic for me was waking up everyday to bet and sweat KBO Baseball, I did really well but I was that nutcase on mykbostats.com preparing to beat the opening line. Lines move a lot in KBO

It was fun and it was a daily grind. Crazy games with shitty bullpens so blown leads, bad baserunning and fielding. Fun league to follow though

Anyways, I am still up at the time KBO comes on, but I just don’t have the fire to grind it anymore

Sports betting is a grind, hoping to win a few % on casino unless your names Steve Stevens

Is just reflecting on what I want... I want the big scor, it’s a losing mindset in sports, you can’t just push “the big score” unless your these golf guys hitting huge returns, I missed those unfortunate

Where I mean you misunderstood... I want the sting, I am not sweating the swings my life is swings

    Round in circles, UP

I am chasing the score or the sting, either one is fine with me but I need the daily volatility

I never made a life changing sports bet. I never want to.

We all have a different story but you expressed where sports betting fits in to life beautifully.

Just one of these fucked weeks for me where I haven’t been able to do my usual routine. I like Henley so I will put a little extra on him and shadow Daly some on all his other picks.

The Euro Tour has been typically my strongest but this week is a total cluster fuck. You got the PGA guys traveling into this strict protocol, playing links golf and many will be looking to just get their games together this week and not necessarily go all out for the win. Most of the top guys got shitty odds.

Then on the other side of the coin you can get some very good Euro Tour grinders for astronomical prices. Daly made a great pick in Hatton. He hasn’t made a lot of noise as of late but is a guy who tends to stay in contention/finish off the job. Unfortunately others have gotten the memo and I’m seeing him around +1800 in most places. If I got to take the shitty price I will.

I have had some success betting the Euro Tour after a round or two, so maybe I’ll have a play after some things get sorted out.

I have a grand on Danielle Kang at +800. It is an absolute horrible fucking price. She is overbet because she’s attractive, American, has Butch Harmon as a coach and is sponsored by Bet MGM. I like her this week but I will admit this is for sure a -EV play. Just a spot where I really like something and have to make the choice to not bet it or make what I’m sure is a long road losing play. I guess sometimes it is what it is.

I’ll post if I make any changes but I am mainly riding Daly’s coattails this week. Which is nothing to be ashamed to admit.

Something actually feels good about getting blown out. Like, you know you didn't get fucked by some random BS on an otherwise good pick.

    Philly Zack Wheeler 2.05ERA 0.939WHIP 114innings
    Cub. Alec Mills 3.52ERA 1.217WHIP 23 inning

Cubs are imploding. I haven’t followed too closely but I can read a score card. They are getting blown out. 0 game losing streak? Something bad is up. Trades? Alexa Mills is a reliever pressed into service due to Cubs injuries.

You manage the juice how you see fit. Or just take my post as a sign to play the dog Cubs. We are approaching tilt territory over here.

    Philadelphia Phillies -170 for 1st 5 Innings

    Philadelphia Phillies -½ -117 for 1st 5

    Philadelphia Phillies -133 for Game
Shitty bullpen for Philly so beware

4:05pm so we have time to call Vietnam for credit
I like the Red Sox Angels 1st 5 over 4.5 & full game over 9 too. Sawks ERod. Just thought I’d warn ya.

    Hammering Jays today

    -1.5 -130
    Five innings -0.5 -140

Or feel free to use them in a parlay with the moneyline -200.

*Reminder to take Sugar Sean under 1.5 rounds for UFC. Could use this in a parlay with Jays moneyline if you like free money.
