Lot of folks Have no issue laying lumber On over K’s. Bad guy was very much right the other night on the Max S over but it’s real hard to make a living betting overs on that prop esp this early in the season with pitch counts not much above 80. Add in a -170 line and it’s poorhouse city.

No disrespect here I know you are the king of props.. Which one of my picks was -170? Civale if you do a little home work you knew was going to throw at least 90- 100 pitches today. I know what the pitch counts are going to be and if winning a game in the 3rd inning is wrong I never want to be right. Guy had 9ks. He was -146 btw. Guy threw 100 pitches in a inter squad game . Step up your fact finder bro.

You handle o/u for a season that take months.. Ill handle o/u on strike outs that take 45 mins to cash.

I wasn’t trying to compare your play to a -170 selection. Fairly shitty use of the English language on my part above.

My now refined point, which i saw again tonight, is the strikeout market has really matured at many books (but not all). The books used the set the line on the high side and dare you to bet the under knowing that a majority of the squares will still bet the over. This year the game has changed. They are setting the line a touch low so there isn’t much value on under and daring you to bet overs and then adding juice to the over. Now you got sharps not taking the under and squares playing overs, which is the right side, but at huge juice so they can’t win over the long haul.

Look, I completely agree about hedging fundamentally. It’s a leak. I hedge when I’m betting larger and uncomfortable. I expose myself to all the loss and only partial win. Recipe disaster long term.
