One would think it's a sound bet but one player is advancing up the hill while the other is sliding in the opposite direction, at least mentally.
Tiger not so good when he's "out of contention" and he was a mess yesterday. Still, probably a coin flip or a slight edge to Tiger.
I've returned to watching the PGA more so lately just to watch the historic collapse.
Even though winning this tournament is out of the question for Tiger, hes still going to fight hard. If he gets top 10 he will have a chance of making the FedEx Cup playoffs. In his post round interview he was very stable and part of the answers to the questions showed that he is mentally improving, he needs to do better in the moment after a poor tee shot and shrug it off. He was very happy with his putting and said that his short game is back. I get the vibe that his passion for the game is building up again and he will break this embarrassing slump over the next few tournaments.
I also made 1 more bet for this round....
Congrats
Guys. Listen to Calvin.
WGC Bridgestone Invitational Day 1 Picks
Part of me thinks I should put a little more on pick 1, but most likely will just leave it be. One of my weak points with attempting to handicap golf correctly is my total wagered per match. When looking at matches I have a grading system that I made up myself, but not really sure what would be the best way to translate that into the amount wagered for more promising matches. IMO pick 1 is better than pick 2, but I have same wagered which is probably a flaw I assume. I also am wondering since my base "unit" is $100, should I be risking -135 for 100 or 100 for 74.07?
Id really appreciate some help with this or if someone could link me to an article about it, that would be great.
I see Kasich listed at anywhere from 20-1 to 50-1 on random Euro books that pop up on political sites. I obviously don't want him to win, but seeing him up close for years being from my state, he's aways struck me as a true threat. I still think Hillary likely wins, but I forgot how bad she sucks at campaigning.
I think at the very small grownups table of Republican politics, he's superior to Jeb, and would be a better general election candidate without a cancerous name. If I could easily get down at over 33-1 I see listed, he's worth a flier for you Euros with multiple betting options.
I see him presently listed at 50-1 on bet 365 for 200 max bet, but I don't know if that's a true line being in US.
I'd be cheering for you to lose, but I don't see how hes not the second favorite behind Bush once it shakes out.

Politics isn't an area where the long shot wins. Put the cash on Clinton -110 and get paid.
I hate the cunt, but she is the next prez.
I find this website quite good for ye olde golf tips

Yea really thought Jimmy Walker would top 10 tournament. Still time for him today. It very easy to win/lose 2/2, but whats annoying about it for me is that I still make mock picks for other matches unless I don't know much about either golfer or feel like it would just be guessing. I ended up going 4/5 with my mock picks.
You're welcome.
One bet my friend is adamant on every year is Charley Hoffman to finish in the Top 10 at the Texas Valero Open. For some reason the guy just loves that tournament, though this year he finished 11th cos some dude birdied the last. Heartbreak for my buddy lol but it def represents value. Take a look at it next year

Today's Picks for Rd 2 of WGC Bridgestone...
Today is the first time that I took a day 1 match pick and flipped it to the opposite for day 2. Its not my favorite pick of the day by no means, but I like it.
Some funky things have been happening this week and originally I read how much the pros like this course because its straight forward etc. Today they are saying its will play tricky and scores are expected to be worse today. Makes it seem like a bad idea to lay 180-100 with Mickelson match, but hes fighting a ton of injuries and played horrible yesterday. I'm happy I didn't ride the Troy Merritt train, Yesterday Graeme McDowel hits 8 greens and shoots 66, while Troy Merritt hit 9 greens and shot 82! after winning last weeks tournament.
My favorite pick of the day is Furyk, Course is made for him.
The leader board is full of big names all within a pretty tight gap. Sunday is setting up to be pretty entertaining.
I will post my past few weeks of stats with my picks record, total $ won or lost, avg profit/loss per match and a couple other things. I will do this once a month for those of you who are following my picks.
Big series Jays vs Yankees.
Could get 4:1 on Jays winning the Al East.
WGC Bridgestone Day 3 Pick...
Getting almost 2-1 on Westwood today is great value. Spieth is the hottest golfer in the world right now though? Yes, but hes just been hanging on so far for the first 2 days with decent rounds. Westwood and Spieth are tied right now through 2 rounds. I asked self, would I take Spieth laying -140? and I wouldn't. If it was day 1 I might, and day 1 is usually where I struggle with picks. The general public is all over Speith with how hes performed this year and that's why hes overpriced so much today. I think a lot of people say "who cares if its -120 or -195, hes going to win anyways" and that thought process burned me just yesterday! I saw nothing with Speith yesterday that indicated to me that he would shoot lights out today. He was very inconsistent. That said, I wouldn't be shocked to see Speith on top the leader board in 8 hours.
