Miami -1 (or alternately Miami moneyline -115) vs. Boston - I believe Boston to be playing over their heads, especially with Rondo gone and new faces to deal with. They won their first post-Rondo contest, but that was against awful Minnesota. Miami isn't good, and they got embarrassingly spanked by Utah on Wednesday, but they played Washington tough and lost by just two on Friday. I see them beating Boston while at home. Boston has won 3 in a row, but they beat Philly, Orlando, and Minnesota -- hardly powerhouse of the NBA.
Philly/Orlando - Under 192 - Orlando has scored 94 or fewer in 5 of their last 6 contests. Philly has had 91 or fewer in 6 of their last 8, and 79 or fewer in three of those. While a similar under pick with Charlotte lost last time out, I think this one is going low.
Wahsington -6 -105 vs. Phoenix - The Suns are one of the NBA's most inconsistent teams, but one thing consistent with them is that, especially lately, they can't beat tough competition. Their 14-14 record is misleading, as most of their games have been against soft teams, including the last two. Washington is flying high with 6 straight wins, and a 19-6 record. I like them here for just 6 points.
Placed the following on Bovada:
Under 192 -105 Philly/Orlando
Washington -6
Miami -1.5
Wasn't thrilled about the extra half point for Miami, but I see that several books in Vegas also have 1.5, and even 5 Dimes as -1.5 -102, so I don't see Bovada improving much.
I think I will get a 5Dimes account going today.
Wow I run soooo bad with line changes.
Yesterday missed a -115 to -105 change on Denver by like a minute, which costed me $70.
Now the line jumped to Miami +1 moments after I bet it, and on Bovada it's +1 -115 instead of -1.5 -110 like I got a few minutes earlier.
Now DWade, the only guy on Miami playing well recently, is questionable.
Boy I wish I never touched that one.
It's off the board at many books now.
5dimes:
707 Boston Celtics -3½ -105 -155 o197½ -105
708 Miami Heat +3½ -105
Yeah that's not good. That means I have a line 4.5 points off.
Idiot Pats cost me the teaser fo sho
And of course Miami is stomping on Boston somehow.
Philly under looking good, too.
Now, Washington on the other hand.....
Live betting Indiana/Minny under 49.5 2nd quarter. -120
Any feel for Seattle v Arizona?
-9.5 with a total 36.5
Arizona 11-3
Seattle 10-4
You got some 'splainin to do Tony
NE game plan leaves me on my knees praying Josh McDaniels gets that SF plane ticket this week. He sucks balls.
Seattle wins the game but -9.5 is insane.

Miami up 9 in the 3rd (though Boston is being stubborn), Philly game looking easily under, and Washington down by 10.
