*** Official Flying Stupidity Wagering thread ***

Obviously we've had some issues with other threads so far this season. I'm starting this one for one reason - to discuss good leans on upcoming football games. I'm personally not interested in tracking records or arguing about what a unit should be or how big someones dick is. I'm looking for a good information exchange on games that we can hopefully make some money on.

I'll kick it off. The only way that TCU and WVU wont' combine for more then 10 TD's is if the weather kicks up much worse then anticipated or if the TCU plane crashes. If the weather is average they might have 50 at half.

Over 70 is a play for me.

BeerAndPoker: Solid play. I kind of expect the total to be 90+.

So borrowing from my other thread about the matter http://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/sho...e-early-season ... anyone going to fire on the Clippers tomorrow versus the Lakers?

    Right now it's Clippers -11.5 (-115), trending toward -12. O/U is 210.

Very tempting to fire both Clippers and over, though I hate lines over 10 in general because they are so often affected by trash time.

Should be noted that the Clippers are also playing tonight against OKC, though there won't be any travel involved between the games.

I'm hoping the total falls after tonight's clusterfuck of a game. Westbrook + Durant both out for OKC and Clippers playing down to their level.

    Clippers missing all their 3's.

Memphis -7 over the Pacers. Pacers (lots of injuries) struggled in beating the 76ers in their opener, and may get run out of the gym tonight.

    Will Cavs really start 0-2?

They are 3.5 point dogs (4 earlier) at Chi. Thoughts?

I think they will come out hard after yesterday's embarrassment against the Knicks.

Maybe, I think the first year the of the Heat big 3 they came out of the gates slow. They didn't look even close to in sync last night and it takes time to figure out how to play with guys sometimes

I thought of that, too. That team started 9-8 or something and everyone was saying how the superteam Heat was a failure at the time.

Still, while I admit they looked bad last night, it is very tempting to get Cleveland as a dog like this.

Also if anyone puts stock into this, Bulls beat Knicks (knicks beat cavs last night) by 24 on the road the other night and had a day off. Cavs on B2B. I'm not big on the one team beat another team and one team got blown out by another team so one team should win either. But I wouldnt be shocked if Cavs lose this game by double digits

Here is some footage of the Bulls/ Knicks game

I watched Pau Gasol last season more than you did.

    I don't see that happening.

Lebron is still the best player in the game.

The Knicks are a crappy team and fluked into beating the Cavs when they were having an awful night. I don't think the fact that Chicago crushed them (as expected) means that the transitive property will take place and Chicago will crush Cleveland by extension.

I will concede that Chicago looked good in their last game and Cleveland looked bad, but I still think Cleveland takes this one OUTRIGHT

I've decided to hold off on the Lakers game though. I think I won't bet the spread unless it goes back down to -11, and I prob won't take the O/U unless it goes back to 208.5.
