Sarah Albright Sabotages PokerNews Contest?

I was surprised to hear Sarah call in on this week's PFA podcast. I saw her video on 2+2 last month and voted her for the lulz. That video was obv. making fun of them for losing Lynn Gillmartin to WPT and Alpha Eight.

Today I looked at the video again and it has almost 7,000 views. LOL. A bunch of people in that 2+2 thread said they voted for her and I'm guessing many listeners here did as well. If you look at all the other audition videos none of them have more than 400 views. It doesn't take a math genius to figure out that she wins the vote by a landslide.

But will that matter? The contest was supposed to end today, but PokerNews announced that the voting will be extended by 15 days. Strange move. Maybe they don't like the results and are too embarrassed to award the job to a girl that clowned them so hard. If they ignore the votes and hand-pick someone, they look bad since they pushed the voting system so hard. Maybe they're hoping someone else comes from behind, but I don't see that happening.

Tough spot for PokerNews. I think they should honor the peoples wishes, like when Wal-Mart sent Pitbull to Alaska. Probably won't happen though.

Given that srslysrs produced the video (and likely wrote it all as well) it is unlikely they would want a competitor winning the competition. Who knows though maybe bluff and pokernews are on good terms.

Though Kessler doesn't think she's good because she jerks her head to the side too much (lol), I think the contest was definitely extended because Pokernews prefers this girl over Sarah.

Pretty weak.

IT seems to us that pokernews is the one trying to make the results what they want them to be. We're attempting to right a wrong before it happens.

Manipulating the results with some sort of automated voting is a terrible idea if you're rooting for Sarah. Then they'd be perfectly justified in selecting another candidate.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, and you meant rallying the troops. That would be fine, but I don't really see that as necessary either. The chances of anyone overtaking Sarah in the polls seems very slim.
