Isildur at it again holy shitttt 5 milly+

I do believe this to have ruined WCGRider...In the 2plus2 pokercast he explained he did not have "a spare 1.8 million laying around" and isildur just took him for 1.2 million.
I expect he sold alot of action but this had to be absolutely devastating. 5 mil + for the isil lately.

A lot of it's selling of pieces when it comes to nosebleeds. I'm not saying that for everyone but it's this way for a lot of bigger and more respectable high stakes players.

For example I know when Brian "Stinger" Hastings took Isildur for over $4 million in a session back in 2009 he had lots of pieces sold in that. Whether Stinger had 10% or like 50% of himself who knows but the these elite high stakes cash game players try to figure out who they feel has the best edge for a certain players style and buy up pieces of them.

Their are degens/heebs of the world who go broke moving up too quickly playing on a few bullets though and it's happened a lot. I always laugh when I see a guy with no real score yet to their name win the Sunday Million on Stars for about $200k and then jump right into $200/$400 PLO or goes playing Olivier Busquet in the $5k HU SNGS.

This is exactly why Andy Beal could put a ton of pressure on the Vegas Pros from the Big Game because he has so much money and can be fearless. They could play $10k/$20k HU limit and if he drops a million he has the power to say "lets make it a $20k/$40k game" otherwise I will quit and it looks like such a great spot for the pros pooling their money up but as you know well enough anyone can get hot.

blom is a beast, no doubt about it. Have been following him this year and the guy is fearless, taking on all the specialists, no bumhunting and murdering them them all

ironically its in NL that he has incurred his biggest losses, mostly because he hasnt been playing, it bores him. I think he will play more now that WCGrider called him a ''whale''
