matter of fact, you shouldn't put it in there anyway, because its easier to cook the bird (or birds) evenly without it, and it tastes just as good (if not better) prepared on its own.
In my experience, we always make way more stuffing than what can all fit into the bird, so there is a bowl of the stuff that was in the bird and a bowl of the stuff that was in the pan. The stuff that was in the bird gets wiped out before anyone even bothers with the other, even though both are on the table at the same time. Everyone is different though.
