Also slightly of topic, but besides Credit bonus whoring you can also add the art of Gift Card whoring. I would not advise anyone to just buy a gift card, but if you know you are going to buy something at a certain store it is a great way to save a few extra $$$. You might be surprise how desperate some people are to sell their gift cards for cash. I use it all the time to reload my Starbucks account (you get a $100 for about $85) or for the pet lovers among us, you can often scoop up a petco or petsmart giftcard for a 20% discount. In fact (years ago anyway) store cards are worse for your score than a regular Visa.
I think because some stores essentially sell credit, (jewelry, used car lots, etc.)

Here is a good business card from Capital One. You need a valid business tax ID number to get it.

You also get $50 for adding an authorized user to the account (lol). You can just add anyone and not even bother to give them the card.

This is also a good card to have, as it gives you 2% cash back on EVERY PURCHASE.

Here is one of the best credit card bonus offers that exists right now, but again you need a business with a valid tax ID number to use it. This one requires a little bit of trickery.

First, you need a United Mileage Plus account. If you don't have one, go to united.com and sign up for one.

Log into your united.com account, hover your mouse over "Products & Services", and click "Get Credit Card".

You will probably see offers for 4 different credit cards come up.

Click on United Mileage Plus Explorer Business Card.

You will likely get an offer coming up for 30,000 bonus miles for spending $1,000 on the card.

The offer MIGHT change to 50,000 miles!

If it does, great! Just apply for the card and you will get 50,000 bonus miles for spending just $2,000 in 90 days!

If it doesn't change, don't worry. Just go ahead and apply for the 30,000 card. When you get the card, go on the Chase site and send a "secure message" asking for the 50k offer.

If they refuse, call in and ask to speak to a supervisor. Tell the supervisor that people on the internet were manipulating the URL to get 50k, and you would also like that same 50k. This sounds ridiculous, but they will often say yes and approve it.

At worst, you will end up with the 30k offer, which still isn't bad.

There is nothing illegal about this, and in fact Chase is very aware that thousands of people have been doing this for the past year, and they don't care.

i recently picked up IT card. Was never aware of that bonus, sigh. i basically signed up through a third party for a measily $20. Maybe i am qualified for it though, i emailed their support. I also thought my credit score would take a big dive because of what I'm doing, but my last report (a few weeks ago) showed my credit score at 814 -- actually up from when I started doing this.
