The reason all workers deserve a living wage is because all workers need to be alive. Not very complex.
Not necessarily.
I worked for a company that was sold to Apollo and what they want to buy are Companies that generate good positive cash flow.
They also like to re-organize and improve Companies and then issue IPO's to take them public, for profit obv.
And Cleatus, you forgot to mention the 'Fail' that was the resort fees Caesar's started this year that everybody hates.
:corporate greed.
Since I now have two connections to Caesar's (Seven Stars member and loyal WSOP player), I have made somewhat of a hobby out of monitoring and reporting their constant fail.
Cleatus is correct about most of his observations.
There is staggering incompetence in operations. It seems to me that their biggest problem is lack of communication and transparency between departments. Each hotel is divided into so many individual departments (more than you'd ever imagine), and each department lacks visibility into the other, and they almost never communicate. This leads to almost comical failures when contradictions and mistakes occur, to where no single department is empowered to quickly and easily correct the problem.
Here is a good example that occurred with me a few months ago:
All Seven Stars members are supposed to get free internet at Caesar's properties. However, the customer often gets charged anyway, due to various failures in the system. Most infuriating is when the charges automatically come out of your RCs (reward credits), as you have no visibility into seeing this unless you keep a running total of your own RCs and constantly monitor them. So you'll use your "free" internet, and then suddenly your RCs have just dropped by $15 or whatever, and you won't realize it unless you have been keeping track of your RCs to the penny (and this is hard to do as you've been playing a lot).
But putting that fail aside, correcting it is even more difficult.
I noticed that I lost $105 from my RCs because I ordered three "deluxe packages" of internet, which normally cost $35 but I was supposed to get free.
I asked the VIP front desk about it. They said that there were no such charges. I told them that I saw my RCs disappear, and they match exactly the "cost" of the internet. They still insisted that my account showed no internet purchases. I asked them to call Total Rewards. They tried, and as usual, nobody answered.
I went to the Total Rewards desk, all the way across Caesar's. They verified that $105 was charged to my RCs by the hotel, but they had no more information to give me. I had them try to call the VIP front desk, but nobody answered (LOL). I had them write down on a piece of paper to bring to the front desk. I walked all the way back there.
The VIP front desk manager checked and still could not find this. "We didn't charge you any RCs", he insisted. I showed him what Total Rewards gave me. He said they must have been mistaken.
After repeated arguing, the manager finally agreed to do an extensive investigation on it for me. By this point, I had wasted 45 minutes on this mess.
I got a call about 2 hours later.
"We figured it out," he said. "You were right. You were being charged for internet to your RCs. It was because we changed the code for the $35 internet comping, and the reservations department was still entering the old code, so it wasn't being comped off properly, and just going to your RCs. I am not sure why we couldn't see it in our system, but after a lot of research, yes I see you were charged. I'm giving the RCs back to you."
I asked him, "When did this change occur?"
"Two months ago," he said. "We are correcting it now, since we just discovered it thanks to your complaint."
"So then other Seven Stars customers have been charged when they used the internet and probably didn't realize it, for the past two months?"
"Well, yes, but only if they used the $35 package."
They gave me $100 in food credit for my trouble here, but this is a perfect example of their operational failures, and trust me when I say it's hardly atypical.

I would venture to say it's almost common knowledge now that the title of this thread is accurate.
Shooting at Bally's WTF man.
Should I cash in my reward credits somehow? Will they still be good if I'm not in Vegas for another 6-8 months?

Here is the correct solution:
Sell the Caesars Palace property to someone who is halfway competent.
Across the street demolish everything from Harrahs all the way down to Planet Hollywood and start fresh or at least blow up The Quad and Flamingo to kingdom come.
Druff's kid Cherry Tomato is gonna be pissed.
