Its a good post by Tony, but as another pointed out it was posted 18 months ago. There has to be a timeframe cut off. Nominating it as BTOY has to have some time frame relevance and March 2012 just seems a bit old.. For now I have to agree Jasep's epic scam thread is more closer to proper time frame consideration.

A Kings X song by the great MaxDreidel was the third post in the DD thread, and somehow over numerous subforums, fits, starts, ebbs and flows, the thread continues.
With all due respect though it's not the thread of the year by a longshot. I'm not sure what it is, but the story of the year is the Jasep debacle and it's not close.
Ok maybe not the best thread of the year but one that will live on. Like the old story of Tortoise and the Hare many threads at PFA take off faster. But yours keeps moving right on along at a steady pace. Five more years here and it will outrank all others in posts and views. Thing is like these other posts don't have reoccuring news. But your thread will never run out of songs.
I know I've went into that thread & then spent the next couple hours going over forgotten songs from my youth. Definitely a great thread idea that will live on but not BTOY since, like tbags said, it's over 3 years old.
We should make this a nomination thread & add a few rules to the OP & start a poll thread when nominations close.
