After I figured out the pathetic game these nuts play, I stopped posting links from the aggregator site and just post links from where the story originated from. So the CNN video instead of a link to Drudge Report, so these fucked up assholes can't debate a 'source' since it came from their backyard. So of course then they resort to attacking me for posting it.

Step 1: Deny the truth if it interferes with your narrative.
Step 2: Make shit up, because if they can't trace back the lie, you win.
Step 3: Re-frame the arguement - "freedom isn't free" becomes 'you need to be regulated and searched and have all kinds of restrictions for your 'privilege' from the original 'you need to be on your guard for politicians that will take all of your freedom, so keep your powder dry'.
Step 4: Attack the source, because that's easier than debating the facts.
Step 5: Attack the person relaying the story, because you couldn't possibly know that, or you heard it wrong, or have sex with lunchmeat.

Not quite. In fact, not even close.

Only 2.1 million enrolled.

The other 3.9 million were people who simply renewed their existing coverage in the Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) in October and November.

So these 3.9 million people were already on Medicaid, and just renewed it, which would have happened with or without Obamacare.

The fail just keeps on coming.

Regarding my personal situation, I was able to renew my old health plan for 2 more months due to a "mistake" on my insurance provider's part, but I have to join Obamacare by March 1/

I did not make any decision yet, but I got auto-enrolled in some awful plan I don't want.

When I tried to call to change that, I got a message, "Due to the call volume associated with the Affordable Care Act, we cannot take your call at this time."

The 3.9 million were not just simply renewing. Some were in the LIHP program and transitioned into Medicaid, some did not previously qualify for Medicaid, some did not know that they were Medicaid eligible until they tried to sign up through an exchange.

We can debate whether or not this expansion is a good thing, but to say that 3.9 million people that the govt counted as new enrollees just renewed their policies is false.

You mean your private health insurance premium is increasing just like it has every year for the past 30? Why would you expect anything else?
