Kid didnt score in his 1st game, posted 2 against Phoenix in 2nd game and then explodes for 4 in only his 3rd game. Kid is just shy of 20. His moves remind me of Ovechkin in someways another Eastern Euro.. Last goal was just SICK.

That was a sick goal & kinda shocked that he would try it in an actual game situation but I love it.
He was drafted 17th overal in 2012 & a lot of scouts really liked him. The San Jose scouts were telling management this summer he'd be on their first line this year & coach McClellan(sp) kinda scoffed at ithat but from all indications earned it in training camp. I could think of a lot worse things than playing with Joe Thornton & if he can stay there & healthy he will do very well.
Thornton turned Cheechoo into a 56 goal scorer so....... Cheechoo wasn't a slug but you get the picture.
He's played with men in a very good league the last 2 years in the Czech Republic & this bodes well for him. Tough to find his size & skill set. I've seen quick starts by rookies before(Kvartlnov in Boston) crash & burn but this guy looks like he may have a chance especially playing with Thornton.

This kid is the talk of the town.
Heard he has a legion of female fans already,
and by pic # 3 that looks true,
but if pic # 1 and 2 are his GF, then I guess they are all out of luck.
Fucking A
Before the season, I heard the Sharks are playing one last year w/this core group, that has made the playoffs, buts can't win it all.
Then turn it over to the young guys.
They were supposed to ease this guy in, too late for that.
The kid is good and proving the game is still a lot of fun at the highest level.
You can watch someone make that move in every rink across Canada every day of the year. It's as old as the 'lacrosse scoop' that is now being called high sticking by refs in order to try and get it out of the game.
Made popular at Michigan 5 years ago:
This four goal game has caused a furore in the Canadian Media. Only in Canada is this a story.

Foligno did the same move but this time it was the only goal of the game. All the morons(not here but in the Canadian media) who thought Hertl's was showboating & showing the Rangers up are eerily silent for this one. It's fantastic for hockey to see stuff like this & the media can go fuck themselves if they think any player, even a rookie, shouldn't be trying this regardless of the score.
