Anyone used this?
As usual there is the dilemma of wanting the latest and greatest, versus waiting for the patch update to fix the annoying problems.

wasn't into it at first but it's grow on me. the new look had to happen, Apple ran with that orginal look for like 7 years.
Overall it's ok. I don't like the cartoonish icons and yhe changes to the notes, weather, and calendar I am least happy with. I like the swipe to delete pages, tabs with safari and the categories on the pics. Speed is a bit better and the apps are improved that have updated that I have.

The problem is that there is constantly a need to change things over the years, even if they are working just fine.
Sometimes this makes things worse. Everyone fears their product being accused of being "old" or "dated".
Looks like Apple changed some things just to change them.
I generally dislike "new looks" unless it's more functional or easier to use than the old look.
I prefer ugly-and-easy-to-use over pretty-and-hard-to-use.
I guess the new IOS runs a bunch of stuff in the background that really burns the battery. My brother in law is a tech nerd and disabled a bunch of stuff in the settings for me as soon as i upgraded.
All in all the changes seem pretty superficial and neutral. I cannot think of anything that was actually improved functionality wise, but at the same token cannot think of anything that was made less functional. One little annoying thing is that the (.com) button is gone from the keypad, but other than that just meh.
.com should be a button on every keyboard from this day forward. Think I'm gonna wait a while to download this bitch. I really want a galaxy s4. Anyone know where I can get a deal on trading a mint 4s 32 gig Iphone
Could you find out what he disabled? I still have a 4s and ive never had battery issues until this upgrade.
I dont like the reverse swiping to delete shit now.
I cant believe .com isnt already on every keyboard, and even before it was only on the internet it wasnt there to send emails. I hear on Cmoneys phone the keyboard has .xxx
My 4S is already heavy on battery usage (usually down to 30% after a day's use), so can't really live with anything worse than that.
Also I heard iOS7 is more sniffy when it comes to aftermarket chargers.
Interface changes are meh. Taking stuff away like the .com key is retarded.
Sounds like the negatives outweigh the positives right now.

Does the new iOS drain the battery that much on the 4s?
Every time I plug into a PC I get a 'do you trust this PC message" anyone know how to shut this off?
I am guessing they dropped the .com key because they are afraid that it makes the phone look dated, given that there are so many other top level domains these days. However, the reality is that most sites you'll visit are still .com, so it is stupid to remove the key.
7.02 is out
hopefully this fixes all fails
