I have the PBS app now, they have a lot of good shit.

This was great, about Jim Hendrix.

    Then this was pretty good
Orson Welles was only 23 when he pulled of the War of the worlds.
Amazing how the country fell for this in under 30 minutes.

I watched this the other night and enjoyed it. Selling drugs is certainly not something I'd ever risk my freedom with but this stuff fascinates me.

Just finished watching the Watterson doc. They estimated that his merchandising rights for Calvin and Hobbes are worth around $400 million and he still won't allow products other than the compilation. I respect him even more now.

I watched Somm the other day and didn't expect to like it as much as I did. You'd think a documentary about wine tasters would be boring but it's more of a documentary about 4 guys preparing to take an insanely difficult Master Sommelier exam. It's amazing the amount of bullshit that these guys can spout about wine ("I'm getting some freshly opened can of tennis balls" ...."The tannins on that red ripped my face off"). Yet it's impressive when they're able to nail the exact varietal, geographic region, and even year (of course, they're often wrong too).

They just added Forgotten Planet to Netflix. I love shows like this and Life After People.

With the Tour de France going on right now I've noticed that a few Lance Armstrong docs have been airing. A couple nights ago I watched "Stop At Nothing: The Lance Armstrong Story".

We all know the gist of the story but it's fascinating to watch all the gory details unfold in a single narrative. Excellent watch.

I haven't seen "The Armstrong Lie" yet but I understand it's quite different than "Stop at Nothing."

After watching, check out this Esquire article. http://www.esquire.com/features/lanc...interview-0814

    I still can't decide whether he's a sociopath or just a weak-willed narcissist.

Here's a good one I watched last night. The only thing that I don't like is when they call themselves "mixologists". Motherfucker you are a bartender, I was a bartender and there is nothing wrong with that term. Just because you squeeze fresh juice during your bar prep doesn't make you something special.

"This is the story of Jesse Snodgrass, a kid with Aspergers Syndrome who was entrapped by an undercover cop posing as a student at Jesse's high school. This is the story of how the war on drugs preys on the most vulnerable."

Great job catching those horrible drug dealers. Suck my dick, Riverside PD.
