One of things you don't hear about is one of the biggest reasons Justin Trudeau won reelection in Canada. It was because of the "Canadian RFK".

In the most recent election Liberals and Conservatives were pretty much even in popular vote. There is what is largely a far right party called the PPC who never had more than 1.6% of the vote and were a non issue. Yet this past election they were the only party to call out vaccines (even Canadian conservatives didn't do this). The result was they managed to pull 5% of the vote (mostly from conservatives but also some anti vaccine crowds from far left). That being said since then then their poll numbers are back close to 2% as COVID no longer a major issue (inflation and housing biggest issue in Canada).

Now as others pointed out RFK much more all over the spectrum than PPC when it comes to his views. But he's likely to pull in the guys who are angry at Trump for his role in developing and promoting COVID vaccines. I also think it's quite likely he's peaked much like PPC. But in such a close election he absolutely will be a factor.

i actually know a few of those classic archtype left wing antivax types and i dont think a single one of them has ever voted for a democrat in their adult lives. they either dont vote or vote green.

This one is tough to guess.

It's not obvious that RFK will siphon more from one side or the other. It's not like 2000's Ralph Nader or 2016's Jill Stein, both of whom were highly likely to take from Democrats, and both of whom changed the election results.

RFK was a Democrat and is from one of the US' most famous Democratic families. That might be a factor in siphoning some D votes, especially from older Democrats.

However, his anti-vax stance might siphon from Republicans, or even non-Republicans who like Trump.

The only candidates that you have certainty regarding unwinding Ukraine are Trump and JFK.

You can add foreign policy to the anti vax

Wife and I haven’t been turning letters for 2 weeks now.

Went apple picking. The orchards have gotten sophisticated. It’s all bbq, alcohol, baked goods like apple cider donuts, live music. I didn’t see anyone picking apples. Good crowd.

    Came back with the crud.

Headache for a week, tired, feverish but not bad, stuffed nose then sore throat. Toward the end I suddenly noticed I could not smell or taste.

I wouldn’t take a shot to avoid. I’ve had flus that were worse. Still not fun.

Everyone around here has some kind of crud. Don’t ask and don’t tell.

its interesting because Fox of all places just had a talking head pointing out that the molten heart of his support are people aligned with Rogan and Jordan Peterson.

i think thats accurate. and again definitely not a lot of democrat voters in those ranks.

BTW, ask Druff who the hell has any connection to the Kennedy family 70 years later? Even the Kennedy family aren’t necessarily fans of RFK. Druff is reaching

Forgot to add Steve Bannon’s RFK support. Remember Bannon Druff? Not a Democrat. Good times.

hes also been tuning his redderick to appeal to red base.

like his wife has been stumping for him at rallys talking about how hes always been there 'for the little guy' etc etc.

also pretty much his entire living bloodline, a whose who of democrat royalty, just issued a release saying they basically disown him and that hes a full on garbage person.

I’ve been on YouTube more than I’d like - it is a black hole with a powerful gravitational force. Hard to resist but I work hard to stay pure.

I bumped into RFK on The Theo Von Podcast. First, who is Theo Von? Similar to Patrick Bet-David, why is this guy so popular? I feel like I’m from outer space or some hermit who hid in Vermont for 20 years.

Theo Von appears to be a comedian and former drug user. Friend of Rogan. Rocks a timeless looking mullet. That’s pretty much all it takes to mint bank on YT.

RFK sat with his wife during the interview.. Despite my interest in RFK I never laid eyes on her before. She is/was on Curb Your Enthusiasm. Larry David introduced RFK to her.

Presently, Larry David has clearly stated he does not support RFK. I think RFK’s support of Israel is some misguided attempt at patching up the relationship. I also think RFK nuked his chances with his pot luck approach to foreign intervention.

I digress. What is the real issue here? Hmm.

Theo Von actually asked, “what is an incumbent”.. This may be part of Von’s appeal. Stupidity. Million fucking views for the pod.

Seriously, I found an undeniable RFK appeal with him hanging out with Von and rolling with the simp and maintaining a relaxed good humor. No other candidate in the race could maintain any charm in that circumstance. You know, the whole lack of humanity thing.

I need to find direction in my life. I am adrift from my fellow humans
