Thanks for all the info Cleatus. You are right, some places it is a clusterfuck of construction.

If I come I will most likely stay at Paris because I can get comped there and its the best of the hotels where I can get comped. Not sure if I am coming or not. I will let you know if I do. I start holidays Sept 15th for 1 month so mabey sometime late Sept for 5 days or so I might be in town. There are a few people I know that live in town so would be good to meet up for a steak dinner.

Harrahs maybe ok, be sure to face towards the Vene or LV blvd at least.

I stayed at Harrahs during the WSOP this past summer, and I thought it was "barely" ok. The room was old, outdated, with lots of problems. (no wireless internet, wired internet didn't work and took too long for them to respond/fix, toilet was broken when I checked in). The location on the strip was good, but as a hotel itself or a casino, I would not recommend staying there.
