Yeah I enjoy the food pics now. Still though, if I see a guy snap a pic of his food in real life it would make me auto assume he loves D. It's not that I want to judge like that... I simply can't help it.

It's part of the natural life cycle for forums like this.
They start out with a certain number of users, increase due to initial buzz up to a certain peak, and then slowly bleed users and get less active.
The only exception is for large forums where there is always a steady stream of new people coming in -- usually because you're the biggest (or only) forum about a certain subject.
It is impossible to retain all of your original users, even if you run things perfectly. A certain percentage will always lose interest, come to dislike certain active posters, get too busy with real life, etc. Compound this over time and the forum slows down.
Even NVG on 2+2 is slow (compared to years past).
The farther we get from Black Friday with the majority of the US being unable to play legal online poker, the deader forums like this will become.
I will try to again ask on radio that the lurkers start posting here.
Unbanning certain people (and there really aren't that many banned users here, aside from spammers) will not accomplish anything other than create a temporary bump in activity with a lot of back-and-forth fighting. It will be amusing for about a week, if that, and then people will complain that the forum has degenerated into nothing but a bunch of back-and-forth trolling. I don't want that.
When I started PFA in March, 2012, I did not know what to expect. I thought there was some possibility that it would be a failsite. Fortunately it got a fair amount of activity, and became the most active of the current "post-NWP" sites. If it does dwindle into complete irrelevance, I will either shut it down or hand it off to someone else to run.
I will also try to post more, and hopefully start some discussion topics that will keep the forum moving during this slow period of time.
Druff we need a cooking segment on the show. It's the only hope we have. I have a killer recipe for tamales that was given to me by a former poster that I'd be willing to share tonight. Let me know.
