    FLUFFERS gadget thread SFW

the app can control the lens remotely, with the ability to release the shutter, start/stop movie recordings, and adjust common photographic settings like shooting mode, zoom, Auto Focus area and more. This means I can mount the lens on a tripod, move to a comfortable position, make all my adjustments, then take my shot, all remotely. In addition, this lets me take my shot without touching the lens, avoiding vibrations that might affect focus.

''The camera has a carl zeiss lens and an unbelievable 41 megapixel sensor! In addition you can get a camera grip for you 1020, which makes it more comfortable to take pictures. You also get 50% more battery life with this grip and it even has a screw mount so you can use a tripod.

Since I mainly work as a cinematographer I have tested the video quality of the Nokia lumia 1020. I have made a shortfilm and compared the camera with three other cameras (Canon 550D/t2i, Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 808)''

SrslySirius, you could use this as a backup camera

This is cool, but I don't see the advantage. You can already use phone apps to control many prosumer DSLRs, like the Panasonic GH4. If you're going to carry something as bulky as a lens around, you might as well do it with a solid body and sensor.
