McCain dismisses the criticism because the hearing was "3+ hours" long. I wonder if he has any idea that some people work for as many as 8 hours at a time. We call them "weekdays".

McCain is definitely a gambler. I read a story from a journalist that was at a craps table with him. Apparently he rolled the dice while a guy was trying to throw some more chips out, one die hit the dude's hand and he rolled craps. McCain proceeded to scream profanity at the guy for several minutes. Old Man McCain clearly has no clue how random probability works.

He's also known to be extremely supersticious, including taking "knocking on wood" very seriously- like he will walk across a room to find a piece of real wood to knock on.

I have been at the same craps table twice.....late 90's.....wouldn't say he was a degen but definitely knew the game and played for a couple of hours.....didn't see him acting out, just normal table talk.....he has a real temper though, I know at least three Senators that consider him one of the most volatile behind the scenes...there are more than a few who have a personal dislike for him which isn't that common even now...

Jon Stewart referred to John McCain as playing 'video poker'. I find it more offensive that Jon Stewart doesn't even know what video poker is.
