That is some pretty heavy time for a white collar crime where it was basically theft. Fed time too, yeah he is doing 90% of it minimum.
The courts in Hawaii don't fuck around, in a major city on the mainland he doesn't get anywhere near that.

That is exactly the first thing I thought too. 7 years is a shit load of time for something like this.
I have heard many scams where someone stole 10s of millions and got less time or only slightly more time than Smith.
Here is a guy that ran one of the largest ponzi schemes in US history and got 14 years: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reed_Slatkin. Stole probably 300 times more than Justin.

Total Restitution of $185,386.00 is due to the Internal Revenue Service
lol..maybe he has bitcoins
He will do 5 yrs 4 months give or take a month or 2. Hawaii doesn't have a federal prison that I'm aware of so it will be back to probably Cali (Victorville most likely) for a couple yrs before getting moved down to a lower level facility where he can enjoy the softball and flag football leagues
I'm glad they caught that fucker. That shit says he has to pay the IRS 150k...good luck on that
He should get a extra 2 years for that neck tat.
He got such a long sentence because he committed so many crimes against so many people over a period of a number of years.
If they really wanted to, they could have charged him separately for each one and he could have been facing like 400 years.
I'm sure they used that to scare him into pleading guilty.
So is One Step jealous of the amount of penis Justin is going to get over the next 7 years.
