This is wesrwood. He is from the boston area. He was known a beggar/mini scammer. Not only that he is a liar and extreme exaggerator.


He got banned over a year ago for a 100+ reply thread that him and a buddy were fabricating and eventually concluded with wesrwood fictitiously going to the other members house with his crew and beating the shit out of him. It was an obvious rolling and wesrwood and the other member were banned. Anyone remember this?


He came back under the name princeofstud, also one of his poker names, and immediately got his beggar ranking back.


His name was changed to Ifakedahh. He dissapears for months from nwp/dd.


He resurfaces at tydepoker under the names "bluff for rent" who he claimed was his roommate and "weswood". Only to use both names to scam tydes site for 20 and neverstops site for 10 dollars.


He is back here making football bets.

I made that post Crowe Diddly quoted. It's embarrassing to claim authorship to such discharge. It's all true, however poorly written it may be.

That guy has 9400 posts, but its the same handle as NWP, started around the same time. I didn't really read the twoplustwo thread but if he's holding big sums of money he must have a much better reputation over there.

wesrwood started the nwp boards as a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad poster and salesman. He would lie his ass off, in broken English, flaunting supposed baller status. That was when he was pulling petty scams. He learned how to write properly / hadn't figured out how to lie well / had started using multiple accounts to scam by 2010.

Hopefully for everyone involved its not the same guy because he possessed no moral value.

In order to provide definite proof that the full chain is correct and wesrwood group = bluff for rent group, tyde's site would have been helpful. Wesrwood tarnished both account names to pull off a petty scam on tydepoker in 2010.

However, I'm positive that link can still be proven beyond doubt, I'll look more tomorrow. Wesrwood posted hh with the poker name princeofstud, that's actually how the nwp handle princeofstud was connected to wesrwood when he reemerged, because someone remembered that was his poker handle.

First, they tend to be super arrogant and dismiss any commentary that comes from someone they can't verify is a regular high stakes NL player. That would be a totally sensible way of running a high stakes NL strategy forum, but incredibly stupid for forums simply about the community itself.

I tried to get involved in the WCGRider/Josh Taylor/Jungleman thread, and they jumped all over me for daring to say that Jungleman should be a suspect because of his routine association with scammers. (For some reason, his high degree of complicity in the Girah scandal was irrelevant in their eyes!)

Now we have a group of dummies telling China and I to "have our fight (with wesrwood) elsewhere", and are trumpeting his successful escrowing of previous fantasy football money.

You know... because nobody ever sets up a long con, or anything.

You would think that these numskulls would be kissing our feet for bringing out 3-year-old evidence that their high stakes fantasy football escrow guy is a scammer, but instead we're basically accused of being trolls.

They are smart people but they don't really have street smarts, which is a dangerous combination when you are dealing with lots of money. Agree 100% that they don't listen to advice from anyone who plays lower than they do (I mean if you are a better poker player than someone obviously this extends to every aspect of life).

Take the recent WCGRider fiasco, just the fact that someone would let people they hardly know stay in their home when their entire livelihood is on a MacBook unguarded in their office is insanity. To hand Brad Booth $30k based on a mutual acquaintance saying he saw him with $50k is insanity. And this is just a single person. It's one thing to lose a couple hundred on a bad decision, but the way they get rolled it's like their answering Craig's List ads for hookers and stunned that it was three guys who beat the shit out them and stole their wallet.

Very accurate. No one assumes the Pokemon champ is anything other than a nerd, but since there is significant money involved in poker, it gets socially awkward kids good with numbers thinking they have mastered life.

It always amazes me how many guys who have made 7 figures playing poker from their home computer allow their device in their actual home to get compromised by some acquaintance. Every day can result in a 6 figure swing playing, yet they live with 4 buddies in a 4 bedroom home, with people coming in and out all day.

I can understand wanting to be amongst other great players, and the value that comes from the shared knowledge. It's like a little mini-Manhattan project for poker, and why groups of great young players have all improved after having shared their process with each other, but you have to use common sense. They are always shocked when someone rips them off. They use the same logic as they applied to UB pre-scandal to individuals. Why would a company cheat that is making so much money? Why would Jungleman cheat when he's so good and making so much money? People and companies are greedy, both make irrational decisions, and you never know someone's true financial situation.

I am still waiting for someone to take a few high end escorts with half a brain, teach them basic poker, and then immerse them into the poker world. Give me some savvy hacker, and 3 girls who have iq's above 100, and I will get access to almost every high stakes player's computer. If random nerds are getting alone in their homes, I can only imagine how easy it would be for an attractive girl to plant shit when a guy is in the shower. Make it an attractive poker playing girl, and these nerds would give them their own set of keys and allow them to surf facebook on the same computer these guys play high stakes on.
