    Video Poker App w/strategy for $ 5

If you play to earn comps you might as well be as good as possible, its not about hunches, its about playing as perfect as possible. For $ 5 you can "train" while watching TV.

The app is free if you want Jacks or better only.
but what you get for the $ 5 upgrade seems like a good deal.
You get 7 more varieties of VP and the training mode, which tells you if you played it right or not.
The website costs $9 a month for the part w/training.

Not too into VP, but looks like they have all the popular games, so bonus, bonus deluxe, double bonus, deuces wild bonus , etc.
Jacks or better is hard enough to learn, I'm at about 97 %.
Not sure how to even tackle these other games other than to memorize a chart.

You are allowed to print a chart or notes and bring it with you to your VP sessions.

I guess you could also have it on your phone, but that could technically fall under the heading of "using an electronic device to assist play", so you're safer with the printout. They probably won't give a shit if you consult your phone every so often between hands, as for all they know, you could just be texting your buddies, and there really isn't a way to "cheat" video poker.

There are various sites out there that list the "tough spots" in video poker and how to play them. You may look like a Kessler-esque nit bringing a printout with strategy notes, but if you are seriously grinding, it might be worth it.

I didn't mean bring it to the casino, I didn't think you could even bring the chart. I'll have that w/me next time.

Just trying to get as good as possible before I get there.
I'm way below where I thought I'd be.
