Brazen Daylight robbery nets over $50Mil in Jewels

The French media has dubbed this the "heist of the century" and, well, it's kind of hard to argue. Police in Cannes, on the French Riviera, are hunting for a suspect who stole an estimated $53 million in jewelry from a diamond exhibition at the luxury Carlton Intercontinental Hotel.

One police officer said the raid could not have been any more daring as the masked man burst in, armed with an automatic pistol, and fled on foot with bags of diamond rings, watches and earrings.

The exhibition was set up by the company of billionaire Israeli diamond mogul Lev Leviev.

They will have to find rich shady people to buy these from them and likely hire some middle man to do transactions. I'm just saying good luck unloading these if they don't get caught first.

I hate thieves but to pull off something this big you gotta have some big fucking stones.

Dude probably already had a fence in place before he robbed the place. I would sell for 25 mil and get the fuck out of dodge. That's a pretty sweet severance package.
