-$1800 is just over a buy in at $5/10 for you seen as you bought in for $1500 in that game not long ago. I guess losing 1800 at 5/5 would kinda suck but at 5/10 ultra standard.

Took one of the worst beats I've ever been apart of last night. I'm sitting on $1400, tight player on the button has $2,000. Tight player is buy the book, can make a move from time to time but isn't going in to anything lightly. I wake up to Q-Q under the gun make it $45. got three callers to the button who makes it $220. I elect to flat because I dont want to get it in with him pre, hes just not that guy, Worst he has is A-K here. What I can't believe it we get three more callers $1100 pot pre.
Flop is 10d-6x-2x. I check to see what big stack is going to do. I'm not worried because this isn't going to get checked around. player two shoves for $400. Two guys fold behind and thankfully big stack folds I snap call and the caller is pissed. Says good call I got nothing and tables 7d-5d. $1900 in the middle.
Turn Qd, I now have top set.
River Jd....... runner runner flush. $1900 swing. Good times.
I have a new idea.
Break for two weeks.
Go play and book a 2K win.
Break for another 2-3 weeks.
Repeat.
Not sure where my deal is but I seem to go and slaughter motherfuckers after I break for a few weeks. It's when I go play 3-4 nights in a week (usually after a big win) is when it turns into a grind with small wins.
Up $2100 last night. And what is an odd twist for me I'd at half of it was from hitting diamond flush draws. Might have had 8 of them in 10 hours. Hand of the night was snap calling a $300 all in raise with $40 in the pot with 9-9. Dude had -A-6 suited. Called me every name in the book on his way out the door. He just had that Internet donk look to him and I knew in my soul he was full of shit. I don't normally do impulse calls once the bidding hits a $100 (I'm cheap)but this was a rare exception.
Or, you know, go back 2 hours after this post and bank another $1,250.... Whatever works.
Sad part of all of this is I just bought and paid for a first class ticket to Vegas, a nice hotel and a $1500 buy and I can't because I got a life. Most of me is thankful for that fact, but still would like to take the degen flight for A few days.
Comeon Daly, bag the 1st class air and hotel and get there on the cheap and work your magic man.
So I'll post this here and see if I get any feedback, if not I'll open a thread.
Played a hand last night, starred with 275 had $100 in the middle post turn with two others in the hand. I had K-Q on a K-9-X-X board in the small blind. River is a K and I have a fairly tight image. I check. Player one bets $60, player two tank calls I shove for $175.
Player 2 is a nice guy and one of the betwr players. Not a young internet kid but far from old, maybe 35. Old enough "to know better".
Player 1 folds. Player 2 who is obviously frustrated mucks his cards forcefully. Dealer pushes me the pot. While the dealer pushes me the pot player 2 reaches over and picks up my hand and holds them up to his face and then throws them in the muck.
Your play?
if you are bigger than this guy I would subtly indicate if he pulled that shit again a digit or two would need to be reset by a doctor...that's some fucking horseshit right there...
Call the floor. If the dealer does not beat you to it or call jinx then they suck Hippo balls. The floor should day ban and explain how fucked it is to a non casino regular. Lifetime ban for a known trouble maker.
