I don't know why, but it just doesn't work for me.
Doesn't have that "je ne sais quoi" IMO
Thoughts?

Was wondering when someone was going to ask about this.
Flying Stupidity is a recycled name from more than 2 decades ago.
When I was 16 years old, I created that name as a fake account on a BBS I had been deleted from.
Three years later, I used the name for a comedy music radio show that I had on my college's radio station.
For some reason it came to mind again, more than 20 years later, while I was putting up the forum. I wanted a wacky-sounding name for for the general forum, and "Flying Stupidity" just seemed like a good fit.
If everyone hates it, I'll change it, but otherwise it's going to stay.
Actually, many of my poker screen names, including "Dan Druff", were recycled from old BBS names I used in the past. I do this on purpose, kind of to pay homage to thing from my life's past, not because I can't think of anything new.
How about calling it "Micon's Bed Sheets" and then for a description you can put "All your shit goes here"
The Rubber Room ftw
Flying stupidity IS GOD
I didn't like it the first time I heard it, but strangely every time I read it I find myself liking it just a little more. I think what we are lacking here is a banner to set the tone, something to remember the name with an image.
Like so:
Just swap in Dan Druff for Monty oh you fucking get the idea. Something like that would make the whole thing stick more. Otherwise I have to admit, it's likely many people will find the forum less memorable.
Visual stimulation works people!
Why did the image show up twice? Odd...
There's a bug in vBulletin that's making this happen.
Basically, the whole image embedding feature in the new vBulletin software (the one that I paid for while everyone else in the world is pirating it) is a big mess. It's full of bugs, and in many cases, counterintuivite.
I chose vBulletin because it looks a hell of a lot better and cleaner than phpBB, but the number of bugs and weird "features" has been disappointing.
Keep
I think it is a great name. Because it describes so succinctly the merit of so much of the content posted in it.
(Including much of my own!)
