They have partnered with the Borgata.
This will be a separate room and won't combine with Party's existing Euro traffic.

Good news for Jersey considering Party already has the software they just have to code in location tracking. This of course a necessity for their license but for the players they want to see good or at least decent software with a fair rake structure and several game options which Party is able to provide.
This is also a step in the direction of what Party Poker hoped for leaving the US market in 2006. It wasn't the main reason they left which that was the fact they are a publically traded company but they hoped to enter again someday by paying the US government off.
If Party Poker wasn't a publically traded company I'd say their is a less than 1% chance they would have left the US market with the writing on the UIEGA being very vague. They couldn't be too happy seeing Pokerstars massive success afterward along with the fact that Stars is getting back into the US now too.
With these two pioneers in the online poker industry coming to New Jersey I like the chances for a fair rake structure and maybe even some not so bad comps for those Jersey residents.
Since Boyd gaming owns or part owns Borgata that this will also be the case for Vegas properties owned by Boyd?
Great, but very old news. Also Party has no control over the rake structures, they just provide the software. It will be a competitive market with house banked games as well so I think it is reasonable to assume rake will be lower than some have thought.
fuck party they segregate players by skill
