So does anyone wonder what Dustin "neverwin" Woolf is up to these days?

He called into radio last year and revealed that he's back in Chicago working at his family's business. I assume that's still the case (I haven't talked to him since then), but that's not the story here.

Here are some excerpts from his Facebook:

Call into radio again sometime, Dustin.

I have wondered for a while now what became of him. last I heard he was in CCDC on drugs and busted. So hard to believe that someone hasn't hurt him bad for stealing like that.

Honestly , with your deep run and awesome play this year and Newhizzle making the nov 9, you know it hurts him bad to see the "real" good guys rising to the top. Makes me very happy that you are still in the community.

Poker/Gambling does ruin some lives especially if people get caught up in the wrong things with the wrong people. That isn't to say a lot of people might have found other ways to inflict pain on themselves if they didn't get caught up with gambling which led them to the wrong crowd who introduced them to drugs. Neverwin also got crushed with the UB cheat scandal too which could easily assist him in to following a bad path in life as well.

Dustin is better off staying clear of poker. It's a shame because he had a few great years back in the old $100/$200 limit game on Stars when that was the biggest stakes online but for some people with new found wealth creates more life problems then it helps them.

That isn't to say anything about Dustin as a person because this type of thing happens to several people whether it be someone who hits it big in the lottery, a professional athlete, musician, etc...

Neverwin is still working in his family business and has some good things of his own in the works,Contrary to what some my believe he is drug free at the time being ,Him and newhouse are still good friends and it may be possible to get them both on the show.

When Gallo, Juan-ble Bot and I saw him at the Indiana casino a few months ago (wearing a very worn Neverwin Poker shirt), he was up in the Higher limit area and looked ok.

Yeah, I thought he was working at the family business and was thinking about opening another location. He was playing poker a few night a week and doing well. He was making a lot of money when the games would get short handed late at night, but when people found out who he was they wouldn't give him action.

Chicago is a good area for limit poker as the poker scene there was all limit mixed with the occasional large PLO game. At one time the PLO game was getting so big pros were flying in from Vegas to play in it. I have a very hazy memory that Newhouse even came out and played a couple times.

There used to be a 50-100 Limit HOSE game that ran almost everyday going back to at least 1999. This was very uncommon at the time as the style then was to wear an onion on your belt.

Dustin was knee deep in drug shit going back to high school. In college, he saw Micon playing poker and asked him what the rules were.

Back then nickels had bees on them and you'd say give me five bees for a quarter.

Lovable fellow Dustin "neverwin" Woolf but realilistically not a true champion in the sense of some here at PFA. Hopefully as he's still young enough he can do well in my old home town of Chicago.

Love Dustin - glad to hear he is living drug free these days. Hope he calls in to radio - that would be AWESOME.

Did you used to play with us in the 20/40 LHE games at Harras/Resorts back in the day? Thats how I originally found NWP, used to play with Dustin and Jim (Spyder) in that game before Dustin blew up and moved to LA.

I probably didn't play much with you guys. I spent most of my time in the 10-20. The variance in the 20-40 was too much for me. I played a lot with Dustin and Tony aces and Jim(and his wife Missy).

I remember when I started playing 20-40 and you would get 10 hands an hour because black Gary was completely wasted but no one would have him booted because he was a donator. It seemed like Dom spent most of his time tending to arguments.

I didn't know Dustin was already into drugs. He just seemed super mellow to me.
