I don't think Riess says he's the best to come off as cocky/arrogant.

As a poker player some people take the approach where they want to put themselves in the frame of mind thinking they are the best. These players will keep telling themselves this to boost their own confidence which if it works even for a few days then that way of thinking served it's purpose.

I thought it was interesting that the 2 established live tourney guys (C Mortenson and JC Tran) with lots of experience played the absolute worst of anyone down the stretch. You would think these would be the guys who would not be as phased by the pressure

Maybe you missed the part where after that Farber said Reiss hit every fucking flop which was completely accurate.

Reiss ran great heads up and that was that.

Sorry Deal that I was posting facts from the pokernews live report. Didn't know that my opinion got mixed into just restating everything that happened without the hole cards exposed. I'll try not to list information from a source ever again, maybe that will make it less opiniony.
