If he was just playing the long game in setting up a con a lot of his behavior seemed arbitrary and/or superfluous. Perhaps that was part of his game.

The pathology of this guy is also intriguing. It seems weird that he embarks on these cons SOLELY to have heavy action on games. Labeling him a sociopath seems too simplistic. I would love to know what makes this ugly man tick.
Is there any news on this? That thread died, well its going strong, but just w/sport bets.

The only one I've seen say it is Peter DC on 4, turned out to be cleatus.
They said his name was Mike Esposito and he has kids.
Now they did say he had a rich girlfriend who was known in poker world so that must be the one w/ the mansion.
Maybe this recent accusation was a false alarm, and "Mike Esposito" was actually another scammer who just happened to have a similar M/O to Peter.

I believed it was Peter because of the claim that Peter was suddenly seen around Vegas around the time this happened, but that could have easily been a coincidence.

Peter's rich girlfriend with the mansion was NOT a well known poker player. She did play a bit of poker, but her last tournament cash was in 2004, and I don't think she's really into the cash game scene, either.

She was best known for being a pioneer in the 900/976 phone sex industry in the '80s. That's where she made her fortune.

I believe she's in her mid-50s now, which is probably why Peter was able to take advantage of her. Peter apparently charmed her, and she was probably flattered that a much younger man was taking such interest in her, and probably blinded herself to the fact that he was in it for her money.

Just want to note that VPPlayer (if I got the name right) confirmed in the very large thread (last page or two) on Donkdown that Mike Esposito and Peter Falcone are the same person. VPPlayer bumped into Falcone during Falcone's recent appearances in Vegas and was given by Falcone (who was known to him personally) an 818 cell phone number. According to VPPlayer, the message machine on the telephone number that Falcone gave him identifies the phone as belonging to Mike Esposito. All of this is me just reporting what VPPlayer posted on the other site -- go see for yourself if you think I have reported it wrong. It is obviously in Falcone's interest to sow doubt about who the 2+2 scammer is......but it seems to me pretty well documented that the limp guy there who calls himself Esposito is in fact the one and the same Falcone. I bet we can expect him to resurface in coming times with new alias's but still the same MO. I predict also that the alias's will be very hard to google names....both Peter Falcone and Mike Esposito are very hard names to google. I got burned by this myself. The whole 9 months I was interacting with Falcone....I was googling him and at the same time he was wanted by NY State. The problem was that there were too many hits and the fact he was wanted did not show up (at the time, you had to go into the NY Dept of Corrections website to actually find people who were wanted). Anyway, it is in the public good for people to be alerted to this guy as much as possible to hopefully prevent the inevitable future attempts to scam.

When I was reading the 2+2 thread, I was unsure of whether it was PF or not until I saw that he offered someone $500 just to keep a running tab of his bets. That's pure PF from every story told about him, and with VPP's confirmation on the phone number, it seems like a lock.

VPP, why do you think he actually even gives you a # he was using? Why not just change a number or two? Had I pulled all this shit, I would just give a guy I was looking to give the slip a # that was slightly off. I get he was caught off-guard, and that he might just start giving his # out of habit, but by the time I got to the end of reciting a number, I would have changed a few numbers, particularly when that tidbit is the only solid evidence I've seen that they are, in fact, the same person.

Vpp is a smart guy. He wouldn't of left Peter without calling the number right then and there. Peter of course knows this.

Did he do this? I didn't hear that version. In either case, by simply getting a phone number, and having dealt with him over a decade, I'm quite sure VPP knew it was likely going to be dead in a week anyways. It would have been just as easy to say I'm using my gf's phone number and give him some bs number that didn't connect with that exact name. Obviously the only reason Peter is still walking around is that almost all these confrontations occur in a casino where an ass beating leads directly to jail. I'm sure when VPP got the number, he wasn't thinking, "this is finally over." Peter could have just as easily said, 'fuck you' and walked out, as you're handcuffed as to your actions in a casino. It's not like telling him to fuck off is going to change the way VPP feels about Pete, he already knows he's a scumbag. Just very stupid to give a number with the name that you've been using in conjunction with a larger scam. If VPP had the ability to beat his ass right there without going to jail, I imagine he would have. Given that they both know that he couldn't, why give him anything?

I called the number with him in front of me, I could tell it was a prepaid phone because it was a cheap Kyocera. He did answer a day later and text me once from it. I have numbers of his from two years ago that still work with his voicemail. They are probably just google phone numbers.

Here is a recording from about 5 minutes ago where I called the phone number belonging to "Mike Esposito" and got what sounds very much like Peter's voice saying Mike's name.

Pretty sure that Mike Esposito = Peter now.

Does anyone have a pic of this scammer?

It would help if you put all of his aliases in a post so we could cross post from other forums and raise up the SEO.

That 100 percent sounds like him. Also, when he says his last name it doesn't flow smoothly. It is as if his brain has to process for split second how to say it.

Just want to let everyone know that the Peter/Mike phone number was given to me by vpplayer, who also was the one to discover Peter's voice saying "Mike Esposito".

I just made the little sound file and presentation out of it. This wasn't my find.

Credit where credit is due, obv.

Nice. Was it the 2+2 gang that helped nail him? Do you know how it went down?

    I'm growing more confident it wasn't 2+2.

$455,000 bond is significant. I have to think this is more than scamming a bunch of poker players. That feels like a larger financial crime, or a more serious offense. I bet he's calling Betsy telling her she was always his soulmate right about now.

    It's not 2+2 for sure.
