I can't wait to see this. It has the possibility to be the greatest piece of shit film ever or just a piece of shit. Right now my favorite b-movie of the last decade is Badass with Danny Trejo, but this may unseat it. It just looks so terrible that it has to be good.

here's Badass in case you haven't seen it either

I loved Maximum Overdrive as a kid. Stephen King's cameo was the nuts.

Comets were causing problems all through the 80's.

Brain Donors (1992) -- Marx brothers of the early '90s. This film is hilarious:

This is a REALLY low budget movie, but it's sadly the most realistic one about the party line culture of the 1980s:

This "Revenge of the Nerds" ripoff actually isn't bad (whole movie below). Somehow Tim Robbins starred in this.

This was the predecessor to "American Pie". Not kidding -- the writers definitely ripped off this little B-Movie for it. Oddly enough, the actor who played "Stifler" in American Pie has identified this as one of his favorite movies. Watch this trailer and try to tell me you don't want to see this.

Actually Evil Dead II is my favorite. Any movie where the hero cuts off his possessed hand and replaces it with a chainsaw has to be worth a look. Bruce Campbell knows how to parlay minor successes.

Side note: The "Burn Notice" starring Bruce Campbell is actually pretty good.
