    *** OFFICIAL *** Druff & Friends Show for 06/24/2013 - Very weird $74.66 freeroll!

Show begins at 7:00pm PDT on Monday, June 24, 2013.

You can listen by going to our Radio tab above, or clicking here: http://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/radio.php

Call in number: (775) FRAUD-55 or (775) 372-8355. Make sure to show your caller ID, or the phone system will not let you through (you will probably get a busy signal)! You can also call our mountaintop number (an old '70s phone sitting on top of Mt. Charleston) at (702) 430-1808.

You can follow along and interact with us in our live chat room, by clicking the Chat tab near the top of the screen. You need to be logged in and have flash capability on your computer to see the chat.

We have a very strange $74.66 freeroll this week.

    $74.66 Freeroll info
Tournament Location: NoFraud Online Poker Room
    Tournament Date/Time: 7:40pm PDT on Monday, 6/24/2013
    Tournament Type: NL Holdem
Tournament Buyin: FREE - it doesn't even cost you any play chips!
Tournament Prizes: 5th place only: $74.66. I will send this to you by PayPal, bank transfer, or check. PM me after you win to claim your prize.

Freeroll money thanks to the generosity of:
    snake_in_the_ass ($74.66)

All money donated from others will be held over until next week. If you really want to add to this week instead, please let me know.

There is no tournament password. Go register now! There is no late registration (software doesn't have that option) so register early!

    *** IMPORTANT ***

To qualify for the freeroll, you need to have registered on PokerFraudAlert by January 1, 2013.

If you are a lurker and still want to play, you must PM me or e-mail me beforehand and explain how long you've been listening/lurking, and tell me some of your favorite anecdotes from the forum (either here or DD) or the radio show. If you fail to do this before the tournament, or if you send me some generic bullshit like, "I think the show is funny. I like the show", you will NOT qualify for the freeroll, and your prize will be given to the next qualifying finisher. If you were an old-school regular user from NWP/DD who I remember, you will automatically qualify even if you weren't registered by 1/1/2013.

You will also automatically qualify if I remember you from NWP/DD, provided you are not banned from this site.

I am doing this in order to prevent freeroll-hunting leeches from using our site for our freeroll money and then disappearing.

    Agenda for tonight:

    - Druff final tables the WSOP $5000 Limit Holdem, finishes 5th

    - David "ODB" Baker talks trash about Druff on ESPN 3 during final table broadcast

    - Highly unknown $5k Limit Holdem winner has an unexpected but passionate fanbase

    - Erick Lindgren wins a bracelet and over $600k. But will he pay anyone?

    - Matt Glantz writes op-ed about changing the buyins for many WSOP events

    - 86-year-old WSOP dealer killed

    - Kevin Boudreau is still alive, seems to be progressing a bit

    - A few tips involving the Rio

    - Will badguy23 really come to Vegas this year?

    - Please suggest other good topics if you don't see them here!

    - We take your phone calls at (775) FRAUD-55 or (775) 372-8355

That is the young David "Bakes" Baker but the one being discussed is the older one David "ODB" Baker.

Yeah, we're talking about the "old" David Baker, who is actually a few months younger than me.

David "Bakes" Baker is in his 20s, and has nothing to do with this.

We actually have a few things in common:

    - Both 41
    - Both Jewish
    - Both limit players
    - Both have 1 bracelet

I thought ODB = "Original David Baker". Nobody gives themselves the nickname old even if they are, in fact, old.

I tried to imagine how the battle for 5th would play out and would request tales to be told. TIA.

I thought it was a lot of fun and lolz, but of course easy for me to say since I "won" it. A few hands before my final one I was 3rd in chips of the last 5 and figured I was screwed. Managed to chunk off a bit to fall to 4th, but sitting_out was clearly short stack. Somehow we got a hand where sitting_out folded, and all other 4 of us went all in. My 8d5d luckily didn't hold up. v12cl also got knocked out, but had more chips than I did so got 4th.

Best lol moment was shortly after going to the final table, Anonomoose was by far the chip lead and had to try to start dumping off chips, while the rest of us were in no-mans land of trying to stay alive, but not accumulate too many chips. Moose called someones all-in (it was whoever finished 7th or 8th I think) with 9-2 off, and it beat A-J.

I screwed it up miserably. I was low man with T$220 and 6 players. Someone else went allin along 2 others. I folded. Big, fundamental strategic mistake. I don't play 5th place takes it all very often, so I guess I can be excused this time. I'll know better next time we play a "weird" mtt.

Another victory for the old folks.

I lost somewhere before the final table to the eventual winner anonamoose when I turned top 2 pair and he had a set sometime before the final table. It was a good beat since having a bunch of chips would have sucked if I won the and got nothing to show for it since 5th is the real winner which is not real poker. I play mostly for the fun of it anyways it's a free roll but having a dynamic where everyone will try to go bust in the last few spots is asinine.

I timed out while trying to make a deal with v12cl the hand the 5th place bubble broke & gut won. I had a set of deuces & was trying to type up a deal so I'd call his all in but before I knew it I had timed out. It doesn't give you much time.
& yes this was right after sitting out made his mistake & open folded with 220 left & v12cl went all-in behind him.

Nah, certainly not on tilt from that but being deep in another mtt at the time while playing that to lose four huge aipf hands in a row when I was ahead to bust out now that's a different story.

I said this was a good beat in a sense that I didn't have to play anymore for a prize I wouldn't probably go for but it's just me.

If someone who donates wants to give last place or second place all the money that is their choice as the donator to do so.

    Druff,

Please keep badguy off the show in the future. 30 minutes of him sucking your dick each week is too painful to listen to. His segments are pure hall of shit. This fucking guy calls out Brandon for taking his ball and running away yet everything out of his mouth is either a lie or him trying to jerk someone off. Christ, the guy even called his mommy to tell her you made the final table. You really think he'll make it out to vegas? For the third year in a row, yeah right.

Congratulations of your big cash. I saw your pictures at pokernews and you looked skinny. I don't understand your fetish of having a heart attack. Your parents are both still alive, it doesn't appear there are genetic issues yet you seem convinced you're a heart attack waiting to happen.
