great sex and good food
I guess we will always run opposite. The Capital Grille is one place I would not eat for free, but I have only been there twice. The second time we went there for work I ordered the filet mignon. When I tried to cut it with a knife the whole table shook. Being the junior guy there I wasn't going to do anything but my direct boss insisted I send it back. I got the second one while everyone was finishing their meals and it was just as bad.
They did give me a free desert which was a piece of cheese cake that was so stale I didn't eat it. At least everyone else got lots of laughs out of my predicament.

Call me old fashioned..
Not to hate, but I think Louis XIII is laughably bad. I don't really like any cognac, but now always laugh when I hear or see people 'balling' while sipping on that swill.
I feel rich when traveling throughout Asia because the exchange rates are so advantageous towards the dollar. It's definitely the right move to cough up for the lounges at the airports in Dubai/Abu Dhabi/Qatar to mitigate a layover. I can ball at the highest levels at an affordable USD clip, even in Dubai at most places. Couple that with being treated like absolute royalty for being white and it's a level of balling that Bottomset can only dream about in his deepest drunken stupor.
Also, a fresh new suit makes me feel great.
Every cognac I've had tasted like shoe polish. I can't imagine that a $300 glass of cognac is going to taste like anything other than shoe polish. It seems like 100% of the appeal of Louis XIII is the fact that it's the most expensive thing on the menu. I will give it some credit, that contrary to crap like "ultra-premium vodka", producing Louis XIII is an extraordinarily long and expensive process.
My Bob Kramer Damascus chef knife.
Never had a better knife in my hand. Just top quality.
Nice. That's beautiful. It's weird to think that actual Damascus Steel was a huge military secret for centuries- on par with how we protect nuclear weapon designs.
That's like a $400 knife, right?
They're made by Henckels. Henckels has some shitty low end products now, but they have a line that's about $80 per knife that's very good.
One thing a ton of people mess up is that they don't have their knives professional sharpened. It's really cheap, like $15 for a full set. Just roll your knives up in a bath towel to bring them in.
