As all of you know, there is no shortage of shady casinos, sportsbooks, and even poker rooms on the internet.
Most of these shady sites are small, and they attempt to drum up business by buying ads on sites like these -- ones that are frequented by gamblers.
Here is how a recent conversation went between me and a "direct marketing" company that wanted to have a client advertise here. They contacted me out of the blue. I have not solicited anyone for advertising here.

So it looks like one of three things happened:
1) Lisa knows her client is shady and that I would never run the ad if I found out the name of the company.

2) Lisa asked the company if they wanted to provide this info, and they refused, knowing they were shady and that I would never run the ad.

3) Lisa thought this was too much trouble for whatever small commission she gets, so she gave up.
Anyway, pretty high chance this was some sort of really shady operation.
