Got KK about 6 times today with mixed results. Got AA twice, won a moderate pot with one, got no action on the other. JJ and QQ batted .000 for me today. Twice I ran into a higher overpair (JJ/QQ and QQ/KK).

Took a few beats at the beginning, but didn't really take many bad beats after that. I lost chips to coolers and missing draws rather than taking beats.

It is not clear if there's 99, 103, or some other number of players left (out of 170), but it doesn't really matter. Average is around 25-26k, and I am above (but not way above) average. I finished with 38,200, a little more than 10k down from my high.

Overall, it was a decent day, but nothing memorable.

The last event's Day 1 played ($1500 Limit Holdem) was memorable, despite ending in disappointing fashion.

Hope I get a good table draw tomorrow. When all was said and done, my first table ended up being a good draw (especially after I got a feel for it), and the table where I was moved was a lot tougher. The hard part about the second table was my position. I had an aggro guy to my left (some Magic the Gathering player), Greg Debora to his left, and some aggro high stakes kid to his left. And then Joseph Cheong to his left!

It should be noted, however, that Cheong is definitely not a Limit Holdem player, and it showed. He can be frustrating to play against, but overall he was in way too many hands and chasing way too much.

Today's limits moved up very slowly. In eight hours of play, we moved from 200-400 to 500-1000.

Tomorrow won't be like that. We will start at 600-1200, then go to 800-1600 after an hour, and then onto 1000-2000! This means that the limits will be doubled within 3 rounds. Obviously if I get the short end of the stick on the hands I play, I won't last long. Nobody will under those circumstances -- not even current chip leader Greg Mueller.

Hoping for some good cards tomorrow!

Here are the various reports for Event 37:

Chip counts, from greatest to least: http://www.wsop.com/pdfs/reports/128...s-by-Chips.pdf

Alphabetical list of remaining players: http://www.wsop.com/pdfs/reports/128...ts-by-Name.pdf

    Day 2 table draws: http://www.wsop.com/pdfs/reports/128...s-by-Table.pdf

I'm currently 16th in chips out of 103 left.

    My table draw is:

    1 Matt Lefkowitz CARMEL VALLEY, CA, US 25,900 Amazon / 347 / 1
    2 Todd Witteles LAS VEGAS, NV, US 38,200 Amazon / 347 / 2
    3 Dom Denotaristefani MENDHAM, NJ, US 34,900 Amazon / 347 / 3
    4 Tam Hang NEWCASTLE, WA, US 42,000 Amazon / 347 / 4
    5 Justin Smith LOS ANGELES, CA, US 12,000 Amazon / 347 / 5
    6 Mark Gregorich LAS VEGAS, NV, US 12,900 Amazon / 347 / 6

    7 Marwan Abdelal LOS ANGELES, CA, US 34,100 Amazon / 347 / 7
    8 Michel Halioua THORNHILL, ON, CA 9,600 Amazon / 347 / 8
    9 Mohsin Charania CHICAGO, IL, US 21,700 Amazon / 347 / 9

    I don't know seats 1, 3, 7, 8, and 9.

Tam Hang is a very tough high-limit Commerce player. Sadly, he has position on me, though he will not have position on me when I am on the button and cutoff.

Justin Smith is Boosted J. I am not sure how good he is at Limit Holdem, but he only has 12,000 chips at the moment.

Mark Gregorich is a very solid player and universally liked in the poker community. He only has 12,900 in chips, though.

This table will probably either be first or last to break. I'm not sure which one.

Greg Mueller (chip leader), Brock Parker, and Jeff Shulman, all of whom have enjoyed a lot of success in Limit Holdem events, all have more chips than me.

Solid stuff. 40 Percent of the field gone already. Looks like it should be down to 2 tables by the end of the night, or even one if the cards decide to makeitso.

Very good LHE player who has gone very deep in lots of LHE tournaments. A couple of years ago I watched him play very well at the final table in a LHE tournament (which Dutch Boyd won, I think). On the young side, with lots of geeky railbird friends.

    Good luck Druff!

Congratulations on the toughest table draw in WSOP history.

The seats you don't know are all extremely tough. They all have WSOP cashes.

Seat 9 won the EPT Main Event.

All of them are mostly Limit Specialists.....ouch.

So Druff is the fish at the table? The good thing is there will be some chip movement as nobody will be stalling to cash. Hopefully Druff gets on the right side of it.

Moshin is a good player, pretty sure he's a HU NL specialist. He's been doing broadcasting on breaks for the WSOP stream with Dave Tuchman. He is on twitter @chicagocards1
