Pacers surprised me with their toughness and resilience, overcoming the game 1 bedshit and horrible officiating in game 2 including all those undeserved techs. Should be a 2-0 lead but they have to be happy with the situation. This is a series now. Indiana has a real chance.

I went to a majority of the home Pacer games in the 90s. It is so great to see them among the top teams in the East again. Beating the Knicks was so fucking great. If the Pacers beat the Knicks in a playoff series, it is a successful season.
I have a suspicion that what happened last year is about to happen again. The Pacers went up 2-1 on the Heat in game 3 of their series last year. After that, it somehow occurred to the Heat that they're the best team in the league and they won the next 3 games, and the two series after that.

Got lucky hitting 2/3 last night, but I really wanted to fire on Indy at home tonight. The problem is I know Stern had a mostly sleepless night interrupted by horrific nightmares of an Indy/SA final, and will likely convene a special Sunday brunch with the officials to make sure they understand that absolutely can't happen because it would draw hockey tv numbers.
Probably going to lay off, or go real small if I think Indy can win by 12-15, which should equal a 1 point victory after the refs get done.
It's so sick how much influence these fucking refs have in these games.
