This isn't so funny anymore when I just bought 0.5 BTC at 8800 for a freeroll which lost.

This would happen when I've had a good run up on Ignition the past few weeks and want to start moving it off. I think btc will be going back up but still debating if they will start slow paying cashouts that way or if I just want to have them send me a wire.
Even the bitcoin diehards saying it's going to 50k+ have to be a little shook the past few days. It's nothing we haven't seen before with btc percentage wise like the first time it hit 1k then got smacked for a while but still at this rate taking a beating obviously hurts way worse.
crypto not banned in India 0 for 2 now sonatine
do you realize the panic sweat that druff was having on this drop? I could just see him sitting in front of his computer F5ing it saying, 'why the fuck did I listen to badguy?!?!?'
this shit is an absolute traders wet dream...XRP is up 40% from it's bottom and the major coins are all 20+% up...obv nobody is gonna pick a bottom, but there's still a shitton of meat to make on those trades...
Who cares if yer a hodler like me, and the other top notch jocks of crypto. We assume it will be back up eventually, and probably soon. If you gotta cash out yer bags for life expenses yer fucked tho. And if you FUD and cashed out yer even worse.
If anything this is a good thing, because on this weeks bovada cashout (after the pats win) i'll be getting way more satoshi than usual.
I can't complain too much as it usually goes up while I am doing a transaction using BTC, but this time I cashed out to BTC, and I lost $200 before I had a chance to turn it to cash. So now I sit waiting for a pop to get my $200 back, and at one point I lost $500. Not big money, but I was using BTC as a transaction tool, not an investment. and thats the rub, its not a currency until it stabilizes.
Scam, bubble popping, virtual beanie babies etc. --- this mindset is acting like it's impossible to be aware of such and not exploit this all for profit. If I bought Tron at around a penny and sold the top at around 30 pennies, how is that me getting rolled? Same thing with Zclassic, which there is still currently major short term profit potential when it's forked etc., but some of us bought at less than 30 on the way up.
The difference is that I can bet that using a legitimate exchange. Unlike fighting crooks like Bitfinix or the myriad of other fakers. Sometimes you gotta walk away from what looks like a good game.
I like my money too much to put it in Karpeles’ and his kin’s hands. It’s simply a life choice. I cheer the crap players on a good roll though.
Just learned of another friend who recently cashed out a million. Was hard to believe. He was a successful MMA bettor who was banned from several casinos a few years ago. Apparently he left his bitcoins in there for quite for time and surprisingly the casino let him cash out and didn't confiscate them...
Makes me wonderhow many bitcoins sealswithclubs held on to or confiscated from accounts. My guess is though they would immediately cash them out.
Also a lot of traders learning the meaning of Martingale last few weeks.
All this being said until Bitcoin hits sub 2000 I don't think it is dead. Can still see it recovering much like it did at 1300 rush.
Max Power said I am allowed one more post today.
You only get one shot at the kind of confluence of events that creates this kind of euphoria.
- The new markets: South Korea, Japan, India etc.
- The ICO scam
- the introduction to the average random & burger as Bitcoin migrated from the dark, drug fueled corners of reddit to the cover of Time magazine - creating a fresh supply of blissful buyers.
- the hope that it would get regulatory approval
My guess is that people move on from the fad wounded and it takes a long nap. It’ll reawaken for one last run at that title when people least expect it some time in the distant future
“Oh man, remember Bitcoin?” someone will write one day
I'm hearing Amazon is under a lot of pressure to accept btc but that seems like its literally never going to happen somehow because lol.
