But seriously, bitcoin is a debt free based form of payment, the only reason i could ever see it going donkdown is if it was forced to go donkdown by the world governments. Debt free based currency models have always worked because they represent assets held by the state or banks, in bitcoins case the number of bitcoins existing in the block chain. Also the fact that there is supply and demand, along with the divisible ability to pay people in fractions of bitcoin, it really is the most morally based currency. You dont need slaves to offset the cost of digging for gold, or go to war with other countries for gold.

After a few months of pondering, i really don't see it going anywhere unless it is killed on purpose by the greedy banksters who want their vig.

Actually, last I checked (last week), the most profitable is zec.

whattomine.com is showing zec at 78% or so of eth mining returns. am i reading that chart wrong? (totally possible).

Not sure. I use my brothers mining rig stats bimonthly on test runs and eth typically is a dollar or so short of zec. Markets been crazy lately so it wouldn't surprise me if things changed.

Believe it or not, BTC is acting similar to gold & silver. During the gold & silver bull market between 2000-2011, they had several large selloffs (25-50%) and always went to new all time highs. And then they eventually had that selloff where it never recovered. Nobody knows when the music will stop but it will eventually.
