These people may not be dumb if they are willing to sell after a 10% gain.

Back at 10k btw, but probably not for long.

It's dumb. That's a martingale strategy with very limited upside and 100% downside.

another bubble popping sign (not BTC related but economy) top GS executive's assistant stole and sold off a lot of expensive wine.

In all, Solomon's former assistant, who was employed from 2008 to late 2016, when the theft was uncovered, stole hundreds of bottles, prosecutors said. The wines De-Meyer is accused of stealing and selling include bottles of DRC, a top Burgundy. The seven bottles of DRC that was stolen had previously purchased for $133,650, prosecutors said.

The indictment doesn’t specify the vineyard, vintage or size of the bottles that Solomon's assistant is accused of stealing. But standard bottles of the quality mentioned above go for about $20,000 apiece, placing them in the top tier of wines.

Something that was trading in the 100s a short while ago "crashing" to 10,000 doesn't really feel like a crash in the overall scheme of things. think it will "crash" more though, hardly a stable currency with these kind of swings. The early guys must be getting nervous, time to sell half and pay off the house or bunker or whatever.

Glad to see you believe bitcoin is going to 0 at some point.

    Now we are getting somewhere.

there's a great analogy going around, where btc is being compared to the 1929 market crash, particularly regarding the elevator operators and such who were getting 'rich' on stocks without having any idea what was actually happening or why.

Investors should heed Bank of America's warning on bitcoin and other virtual currencies, CNBC's Jim Cramer said Wednesday.

During a post-earnings call Wednesday morning, Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan responded to a question about cryptocurrencies after the company banned financial advisors from buying bitcoin-related investments for their clients.

"We have limited our relationships," Moynihan said about cryptocurrencies in a media call. "We basically told people they could buy at other accounts, not at Merrill Lynch."

"I think they're right," Cramer said about BofA on "Squawk on the Street."

The only people I really laugh at are the ICO peoples.

On paper some likely went from 0-> millions. The market cap on the 100th coin is still 197 million.

That being said you likely can't sell more than 20k of it before the price would drop astronomically

    It always rebounds.

Some extreme dips are worse then others and take longer to recover from but BTC has withstood the test of time.

It will take more than some Korean government gooks to keep it down forever.

Instead of sitting here crying and praying for other people's financial demise, go buy some coins up on the cheap and make some money at the very least we won't have to listen to you guys cry like little bitches.

because we work for a living. its a big part of being an adult.

so we dont need to 'buy some coins' because we arent trying to fuck with a ponzi scheme.

a ponzi scheme btw that has reduced you to an estrogen soaked tantrum machine.

and yet here you are, in a thread literally dedicated to exposing bitcoins as a toxic scam, demanding people admire you for doubling down on your gambling addiction with it and getting double plus shitty when it doesnt go your way.

Woah, this harsh reality for most is unfortunate but not deserving of sympathy or admiration.

bigdick, are you hinting you have a day job now? Where have all our heroes gone?
