I have to say I don't really understand. If you eliminate daylight savings wouldn't you just never change the clocks?

In other news DanDruff is shutting down DonkDown.
FFS guy real nice thread.
Even if it's April fools, I actually think it would be a good idea. We don't have daylight savings here; there is no reason to - we have more sunlight hours than we can use already. It's the middle of the freaking desert.
I like it fine, but it gets confusing when you are doing business with people in other states - you always have to stop and figure out where they are in a cycle you don't use to get the time difference right.
Yeah, this is April Fool's BS.
As Vwls said, Arizona has no daylight savings time. This is because it is so hot in the summer that they prefer to have more hours of darkness.
Hawaii has no daylight savings time, either, though I'm not sure of the reason (perhaps the same, because the summers are brutal there with the humidity.) It could also be due to the fact that they are further south than the rest of the country, and therefore moving the clocks up will make it too dark in the morning.
Eliminating daylight savings time would be a mistake in Las Vegas, as it should already be in the next time zone over, anyway. If you did away with it, Vegas would have light at 4am in June.
Shit I didn't see that this was posted yesterday, my bad.
Though I have to say I'm against all daylight savings time in general. You can't save time and spend it later, it just doesn't make sense. Also it doesn't matter what time it is since it's just an arbitrary number. I liked the idea of internet time though it never took off.
