What makes this more intriguing is 888 is slated to be involved in another platform buildout for a provider in Nevada as well and considering the name looks like they are already angling for interstate co-op poker. I know Delaware was one of the last original members of the first MUSL under Lotto America before it transitioned into Powerball back in 1992 seeing how S.G who was involved with this bid with 888 and runs a majority of the state lottery systems this could be indeed a fledgling sign that we could very well see interstate poker sooner rather then later, unlike what many assumed. I still believe that we would see a tristate compact between NV, AZ and CA but Im backing off on that now, as the infighting here in AZ between the Salt River tribe (who run Talking Stick home of the AZ State Poker Championship and the biggest poker room in AZ) and a couple others over some B&M Casino licenses and the fight to build one on the west side of Phoenix near UOP Stadium in Glendale (NFL Cardinals Home Stadium and right by the arena for the Coyotes) has gotten ugly and could divert legal funds elsewhere for the time being.
Odd despite being a Republican dominated state both at the State House and Gov Mansion its pretty libertarian leaning overall and has support among several key GOP power players. The reality is if the States go with the tie-ins between Interstate Lottery framework it may very well move fast but I believe the powers that be in many states are waiting to see how UP fares with the key points of fair play and age restrictions and location validation (which is a big issue with Verizon cell phone users right now) The potential to have NJ, PA, DE and NV get the fledgling interstate gaming system up and running then you then likely will see the Gold Rush effect from other states who will jump onboard at a very fast rate more then likely.
