Honestly, much better question. Would have made more sense if they set it up in downtown NYC.

That said they got some games in Miami that are raking $100 a pot that go all night and then some. 80k is a little ridiculous but 10k isnt out of the question.

they seriously should have just done a spinoff where christopher graduates from his boiler shop and gets audaciously wealthy off of junk bonds and CDOs and stops taking tony's calls and just kinda vanishes into florida like the russian in pine barrens.

Sonatine, you have to admit this is a pretty riveting scene. It is actually filmed spectacularly, with the windy weather and Vin's super cheap cop outfit. I have a lot of issues with this Sopranos, but this scene is off the charts. Even you should agree. James was at his best before all the real life drugs.

i was going to say i liked the whole arc with that cop and then i remembered the incredibly retarded scene where he assaulted the shrink's boyfriend.

Yeah, there were marginal scenes in this series for sure, but this one above was pretty epic. Look at Tony's outfit, that was great. Same with the cop's and his shoes. Factor in the weather. Also. the line "wired for sound". Just a great scene and it takes a lot to get a scene great. But you are right, a lot of the series was awful, especially the ones about Tony's family and that obnoxious son of his.

Another great scene is Apocalypse Now when Martin Sheen blasted the chick on the boat, but I won't cross contaminate this thread with that video. Same with the Walter White confession video from BB. I just like great scenes. But that is me.

TINE, CHANNEL SURFING LAST NIGHT AND GOT AHOLD OF AN EPISODE. IT WAS THE ONE WHERE TONY'S KID WAS TRYING TO WHACK JUNIOR AT THE NURSING HOME IN RESPONSE FOR SHOOTING TONY. HE EQUATED TO THE SCENE FROM GODFATHER PART 2 WHERE MICHAEL HAD FREDO KILLED ON THE CANOE.

YES IT WAS CRINGE WORTHY, I THINK BY BODY LANGUAGE JAMES G WAS EVEN LIKE YEAH THIS ANGLE SUCKS A BIG ONE.

ALSO, A HUGE FLAW IN THE SERIES WAS TONY WAS LIKE 6' 1" TALL AND LIKE 300 BILLS AND HIS ANNOYING SON WAS LIKE THE SIZE OF A YOUNG JEWDONK, MADE NO SENSE. MEADOW WAS OK THOUGH.

they spent like 2 solid seasons hanging the plot off aj's rapidly evolving mental illness and somehow he was cured off camera by being handed christophers porn production company and getting a nice car.

Funny thing is Junior is still alive irl at age 92 and Tony and Paulie are dead. More cruel irony is they made Junior a dementia patient towards the end and Paulie in real life died from dementia in a nursing home. I'll stick to Breaking Bad reruns. They are just easier to process.

TINE ONE OF THE THINGS I NEVER UNDERSTOOD WAS HOW CHRISTOPHER FILMED AN ENTIRE MOVIE. WE NEVER REALLY SAW ANYTHING OTHER THAN HIM GOING OUT TO CALIFORNIA FOR AN EPISODE AND DOING SOME DRUGS. ALL OF A SUDDEN A FULL LENGTH FEATURE MOVIE WAS MADE. I MEAN WHERE DID HE HIRE THE PRODUCTION STAFF, ACTORS, MAKE UP ARTISTS, DEAL WITH UNIONS, AND THE CASH IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LIKE 5M EVEN FOR A SMALL MOVIE. IT'S LIKE ALL OF A SUDDEN THE MOVIE JUST APPEARED.

LOOKS A LITTLE SKETCHY TO ME.

its a completely absurd plot hole regardless. the closest i can come to making sense of it is that the writer they basically kidnapped called in a team.

the most offensive part of this is the solid fucking gold moments we could have had with that. for one thing just based on the nature of the company AJ inherited, the crew were clearly from porn. so we had this great implied arc where all these porn crews showed up and somehow had to film an actual whole ass movie. and someone needs to explain to me how we didnt end up going there because wowwwww.

yeah, imagine little Carmine making Cleaver, then the porn parody Beaver. You can literally re-use the same sets.

i love how in season 1 tony wandered around dressed in a $3000 suit and by season 3 he had doubled his body mass and apparently started shopping at TJ Maxx.

i love that people just troll the billions of youtube clips from this trashfire of a show with fake facts.

like the third most upvoted comment under a clip of the fight between tony and his body builder driver, which of course tony wins despite having a reasonably fresh bullet hole in his gut and spending god knows how long in a coma is that 'the whole fight scene was improved because gandolfini forgot his lines'.

basically its the perfect coda for this entire series.

Just give it up, been off the air 15 years and maybe it wasn't perfect, but it is still the best.
Like there are no holes in the plot of GOT, right? W/the dragons? Or Jon Snow coming back to life?

Too bad 90 % of this forum can't watch it anymore. I love the quote tweets of this, you are literally saying
"I'm a bigot and/or a homophobe". (& 99 % of all homophobes are gay, they are just living a lie)
If you weren't either, like me, you'd just laugh at what he said & move on.

    U.S.
Michael Imperioli says he forbids "bigots and homophobes" from watching his work after Supreme Court ruling

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/michael...-court-ruling/

"i've decided to forbid bigots and homophobes from watching The Sopranos, The White Lotus, Goodfellas or any movie or tv show I've been in," he said. "Thank you Supreme Court for allowing me to discriminate and exclude those who I don't agree with and am opposed to. USA ! USA!"
