More interestingly, the site is supposedly funded by a few poker players:

I don't understand how this is supposed to make money.

It looks like it is going to be a tube site with the difference being their "friendly interface". If that is the case, they will make money being an affiliate and selling banners ads. The videos they show will be submitted by other sites that own the rights to them. For example, Jenna Jameson gives paintbottle 100 of her videos to put up on their site for free. After the surfer views the video he then goes to Jennajameson.com and buys a membership. Since paintbottle sent the user to jennajameson.com they would get 50 percent of that membership which is generally 20-30 bucks a month. You do this a couples thousand times and it equals ton of money on a monthly basis.

Many of the big adult tube sites have come under fire because they allow any content to be uploaded to their tube sites. This has made the tube sites a lot of money, but has essentially wiped out the adult industry. Why buy porn when you can get it for free? The tube sites use the videos to lure the viewer in and then have a lot of success in selling other adult services you cant steal such as dating, sex toys, penis enlargement pills and web cam services.

I wish I knew who was starting this, as I would be interested in getting involved. Although, I dont know why you would need outside funding for this. What they are trying to do isnt all that complicated.
