Latter Thoughts on the BadGuy Suicide Story

After going back over the BadGuy story, I found myself stuck on one point in the story. He was dating this girl for two years and claims he was serious about her, but somehow at the moment of her deepest, most desperate depression, as she is holding a gun in her hand, he tells her he wants nothing to do with her problems and walks out of the room to make himself a drink?

This is the one piece that doesn't add up. If he loved her, why would he heartlessly turn his back on her in her greatest time of need?

He's a sensitive guy, Vwls. He was probably meditating on how break it to her gently, because that's the moral thing to do. Unfortunately, she shot herself in the heart with the murder weapon before he got the chance.

You act like the lady was the picture of mental health, had a bad day, and badguy failed as a human in her time of need. Girl obv had issues. And to answer your question as to who would leave the room...how about:


Someone who cant deal with the insanity anymore.

Someone who thinks the person with the gun is only doing it for attention doesn't think they will pull the trigger.

Someone who is selfish or an idiot or both who can't deal with the realness of the situation.

Someone who doesn't want to be the murder half of a murder suicide.

Pick one. If you dont like any of those options, gimme 30 seconds, and i can come up with some more plausible scenarios. And i say this as someone who has walked out of rooms while someone i care about was threatening suicide.

i agree, BadGuys actions don't fit with what i think most people would define sincere love to be

but the girl had real problems and imho BadGuy did (and probably still does) have his own --i believe well adjusted people
recognize people with mental problems and know enough to stay away/leave quickly rather than stay, while those with significant
problems stick around.
