This story started in 2012, but it's ongoing and the Enet Poker Network is still running, so it's relevant.

First, go read the original post in this thread:

The Cliffs:

- A site called "Bluff Gaming" (NOT the same company as BLUFF Media, who publishes BLUFF Magazine) started on the relatively small Enet Poker Network. It was at http://www.bluffgaming.com -- which is now just a placeholder page.

- In April, 2012, Bluff Gaming stopped cashing people out without warning. Apparently Bluff Gaming was broke, or just decided not to pay anyone. They were responsible for holding all of the money, so Enet refused to get involved.

- After 4 months of arguing between Enet and the disgruntled Bluff Gaming players, Enet came with a "final" offer in August, 2012. Bluff Gaming would be closed, and their players would be transferred to another Enet skin, PokerK1.com. Players transferred from Bluff Gaming would have to rake the amount equivalent to their bankroll in order to cash it out. So if you had $10k stuck on Bluff Gaming, you would have to rake $10k before being able to cash out that money on PokerK1.

- Players reluctantly played on PokerK1, hoping to rake enough to cash out their stuck Bluff money. However, within a relatively short time (about 1-2 months), all of the Bluff accounts on PokerK1 were banned/blocked. It was due to unspecified "issues".

- The ban was supposed to be lifted on November 1, 2012. After being delayed 2 weeks to November 15, eventually PokerK1 stopped responding and left everyone banned. As of today, everyone is still banned.

- Enet will not take responsibility for this or get involved, telling people to take it up with PokerK1.

This is really awful.

I am guessing that Enet first didn't give a shit, but then saw a moneymaking opportunity. They then possibly sold these Bluff accounts to PokerK1 for some cut rate, and then when PokerK1 also went busto, Enet decided they wanted to wash their hands of the whole thing.

Really, really shady.

Also, even before these problems, they raked games REALLY high (6%, no cap), so they were unplayable from that standpoint. They banned Scandinavian players from the start, stating that they were all sharks (LOL). They also limited cashouts to $2k/month, which is always a bad sign.

The network claims to have 1351 players online as I write this message:

BEWARE and do not play on Enet!!

It's not US-facing, by the way.
