The topic says it all. I made a decent amount of money for several years playing low stakes live hold'em and small stakes online. I played some WSOP events etc. but these days I pretty much play about once every month or so. I live in Oklahoma and poker rooms are disappearing every day. Back when I was a teenager I helped develop a Quake 2 mod and I've somewhat gotten back into it as something to do in my free time. With the loss of my poker income I really put a lot of time into my powersports business and it's doing pretty well.

And a serious "To whom it may concern" on this one: if our country's legislators feel like they're helping curb the morality of its young men (and actually doing us a favor, they probably think) by stopping us from gambling on the online poker sites, we will find another outlet, and many people that developed their gambling problems from online poker are all eventually finding that competitive gambling outlet in betting sports. Ive seen it happen with several people I know that wouldn't touch sports gambling years ago. Americans love to gamble and it's too late for us to stop that. So the US government has 2 options: Legalize online poker and take a cut, or eventually they're gonna have to do something about the increasing # of bookies and sports betting websites. America, your people and country would be better off on the legal websites, FIGURE IT OUT!
