also since the season hasnt started you can build anything off of somebody getting hurt in wbc. I mean cant they find a better time to do this then during spring training? I heard the dodgers were pissed anyways because Ram wasnt even getting shortstop play during the thing.
I know NFL contracts have conditions that prohibit their players from activities like skateboarding and riding motorcycles. Does MLB not do this? They shouldn't be allowing players to do stupid shit like playing in the meaningless WBC.
He could have injured his thumb in spring training and for the players who weren't injured in the WBC could benefit from some sort of real game playing time.

Druff all these players play in winter league ball so they are playing somewhere always. This is just a freak accident. Tell magic to go buy another player problem solved.
