WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WTVD) -- A former winner of the World Series of Poker was arrested in a male prostitution sting at a Wake Forest hotel earlier this week, according to police.

A Wake Forest Police Department spokesperson said Gregory Paul Raymer, 48, was one of six men who responded to an advertisement posted by undercover police on a website often used by prostitutes.

Raymer nicknamed "Fossilman," is best known for winning the 2004 World Series of Poker Main Event.

Bond for the men was set at $1000.

Vegas, from what I hear, is a pretty sketchy place for that kind of stuff. Upselling, rollings, and the stuff you mentioned are factors as well.

States like the Carolinas, which is basically run under Christian Evangelical law, are probably the WORST places to get caught doing this crap.
