It does.

Sometimes it doesn't show it all that well, but it does show animated GIFs.

It's a completely different (and much simpler) process than displaying Flash.

Believe it or not, animated GIFs have been around since 1989, though they weren't really used very much until the mid-1990s.

I know they've been around forever I just wasn't sure what the browsers on iphone could do.

I guess if a streaming link works on a site like vipbox.tv then you know you got at least some flash. Even on my Android Phone not every flash works and in fact many of them don't.
