Just a fantastic show. Like Workaholics, the fact that the 3 main characters are also its creators and writers, I think gives it a great feel- like real friends hanging out together.
It's funnier when you know that Mac and Dee are married and Charlie and The Waitress are married.
Track down the early episode, Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare. It's when the show really went to the next level.
IASIP is definitely solid, one of my favorite comedies for sure.
Seasons 1-3 are solid gold, 4-7 have had lots of hit and miss eps, and I think that's because they started outsourcing the writing.
All of the main characters are great. I love Mac. He kind of reminds me a bit of what a real life 408Mike might be like. Totally delusional when it comes to his bad ass-ness.
408Mike is a McPoyle brother for sure.
When faced with a difficult decision, ask yourself "What would Micon do?", then do the opposite.

got turned onto it recently and am watching all the episodes. charlie ftw.
This show is insanely hilarious. Kind of pissed I didn't start watching earlier but whatever. Favorite character is Charlie but I too love how delusional Mac is. The gang solves tha trash crisis and Frank sets sweet dee on fire are my two favorite episodes. Charlie and Mac doing the news crew thing is fucking priceless.
Been a follower of this show over the past few seasons. Frank's transformation into wackadoo is downright gold. One of the few shows I can re-watch any episode and not grow tired.
Only gripe is that they hopefully bring back the McPoyle's.
Bonus Margaret McPoyle pics...I was shocked. Dat Tongue.
I didn't know they switched writers, but this is so true.
Off the top of my head the classics;
The one Barry referred to, the welfare episode, while Dennis and Dee are on welfare, the other 3 hire welfare recipients cuz they don't have to pay them.
The serial killer one, the discussion about who the all time best serial killer was, and stalking the waitress.
The one where the hot chick grandpa's died in the bar, and they acted like they knew him to hit on her. Dennis brings/hire likes 5 homeless guys to the funeral.
I have a Paddy's Pub shirt, its cool to wear and just see who knows the show.
